Nope, I didn't see fireworks today, the title refers to Katy Perry's song firework! It's really nice, even though you may be surprised that I do actually hear this song, cause it's quite ra-ra. But I like up-beat songs now, totally make my morning, and night heh. Plus, listen to the lyrics, it is really inspiring. Anyway the song is not thaaaaat ra-ra, I can still withstand it :P

Anyway, sigh, today I went out again!! Arrrgh, well anyway I went out cause I went to get the things I need. Not like as if I went out for fun or something like that. Plus I did most of my work last week, so less guilty heh. So I'm blogging now so that I can start on my stuff at night! Yay :D

So. let me see what I get today... A pair of pants, Katy Perry CD heh, and a box, which I need for something. And went to take my developed pictures as well, which uhh failed terribly! Shouldn't have opened it! Crap crap! I guess that's the risk of using a film camera, some "unforeseen circumstances" can happen.

And talking about films, today I went out with my film SLR! Really nice, plus I'm using B&W films, really excited about how my pictures will turn out tomorrow. So yeah. But uhh I hate the fact that I get so much stares from other people. Cause they must have thought that I'm someone from the past, using such an oldie camera.

But who cares, I like how they turn out! :P

Right I guess that's all for today. Yay, there's no lab prac for Microbio tomorrow! :D Love it hehe so I guess I can sleep later tonight or something like that. But thinking of watching Khidir busking @ Starbucks. And thinking of shooting him as well hehe. Okay see ya then! :D

Hey people! (Wow it's been long since I said hey people for the beginning of my post) Today I had an AWESOME day! Well not only that today is Friday, which means the weekend is here, and that I ended at 10 today, but I had loads of fun with my friends! Teehee

Well so as usual ended at 10 cause I don't have IDEAS. So went to the FC3 study area with Candy. I was doing tutorial 3 while Candy was studying Cell Bio. Then I studied Cell Bio as well, cause I couldn't really catch what Dr Lai said yesterday about lecture 3. But anyway, somehow I liked it there. Not only the wind is good, but I just liked the place.

Even though it can be noisy at times :/

Then waited for some of the DBS/1B02 people to be released from IDEAS, had lunch there together, and we (Candy, Niv, Kai Xuan, Lizzie, Syazwani and Min Li) went to Moberly, at first wanted to sing K, but the next slot was 3 PM, so we went to Colours instead. Syaz had to go to SPICE, while the rest played taboo! It was so fun hehe.

And since I brought my camera, took lots of pics of them playing as well, and some also took shots with my camera hehe. Then we left cause some are taking part in the Human Wave thingy, while I have to meet Sharon, cause we're meeting up! Yay, finally~

Waited for time to fly till 4, and Sharon and I knew they're both (Wei Lun and Jojo) are going to be late, so we decided to leave the library at around 3.55. But still, they're late heh. Anyway we waited till about 4.40! And we headed to JP. That's the best thing about us, we always have no plan, then we tell a place, then we go to that place and carried it out mwahaha.

Headed to JP, bought tickets to the movie "You Again". And well... Last time I recommended the Back Up Plan to them, but turned out it wasn't a nice movie! So this time we just decided to watch this, since the others are either too scary, or we didn't know the story. Plus, the poster of the movie seems funny :P

For dinner we had Ichiban Sushi. OMG bought this set, which cost 15 bucks but it's so freaking filling! So worth the price I guess. Even Wei Lun can't finish it. And we took lots of photos, plus Jolene's favourite of camwhoring :P And we chatted a lot! That's the best part :) I love chatting with them, and sharing my problems sometimes.

The movie was really really good and hilarious! Well I fell asleep at one part of the movie cause I was really really tired. But was awakened by the dancing part haha. It was quite hilarious. But overall-ly, the movie is nice, and no one is put to blame! :P

Yup that's all for the day so far, thank you again everyone for making today such a lovely day! :D

Sigh, oh well after today I sort of learnt something. Sometimes I wonder, in fact I knew that in the future, I will not be able to do this anymore. I won't be able to go out every weekend night, every Friday with my friends and have fun once again. I'm sure everyone will go to their own way, and it's rather impossible to go out once we are old.

So I told myself, enjoy these moments, enjoy this freedom, enjoy this fun we have and treasure them in your memory. For you will only be able to enjoy these moments in the future in the form of a memory, and not reality. For you will never be able to enjoy this genuine kind of freedom and happiness you had with your friends.

Life is imperfect, nothing lasts forever, and good things come to an end. So make out the most from the things you do now, and enjoy the memories you have in the future. And if possible, relive those moments once again.

So therefore, I have another thing to be added to the list of things before I die - To relive moments which I once had when I was young once more. Be it eating in FC4, or going to JP with Jo and the rest, outing with Neal, had a meal in Holland, ate at the foodcourt I used to eat while I was in PTPS, and so on.

Sigh, why do I get so emo-ey?

Okay that's all for today, this awesome day. I'll hope more of these days will appear! I enjoy the accompany of my friends, and yes it's a great stress-reliever too, cause it's the weekend so nothing's wrong with having fun! :) Okay see ya!

Happy 500th post!

Dear Life Symphony

First of all, wishing you a happy 500th post! It has been a beautiful 2 years, and almost 1 month blogging with you. You have been a wonderful friend of mine, as you bear with me, as I tell you my life's story :)

Thank you for being such a patient person, for I have ranted on you, complained, angry and stuff. But don't worry! I have began to make you look nicer by posting pictures eh.

Anyway, once again thank you very much for the 500 posts that I have written, life's symphony is one of the place where I can truly let go of my feelings and worries. Where I can express my feelings, where I can just let my emotion run out of my heart, and into there, the words.

So lets continue to work together beautifully, and I hope we can continue working for another 500, or thousands, or millions posts! And let my dream of blogging till time runs out for me come true.

So well right now I'm in Mug@Moberly with Lizzie, Kai Xuan and Syazwan. I'm waiting for band while Kai is waiting for sailing PT. I've decided to blog cause I know I'll go home late tonight, so I think to save time I'll blog now I guess.

Anyway today was hmm normal. Haha, I just realised this semester will be a fun one! Cause all of my teachers are so awesome. Ms Adeline is nice, Mrs Mark is nice, everyone is nice I guess! Not saying that the last sem's teachers are not nice, but well yeah, you know hehe. They are both awesome eh.

Anyway I met up earlier with Candy to finalise our job in RWP. And yes we did an awesome job! Thank you Candy for helping me to edit the slides! The powerpoint, which was 21 slides, has been compressed into 17 slides, and that's including Candy's parts! (Cause 21 was solely my part, amazing eh?)

Then microbio lecture, it was fun as well. I like those new things we learn about the characterisation of different cell types (sounds so literature-ish). I find them really cute, well on the appearance, if it does something to my body then urgh, that's a big no no.

So yup I guess that's all for today I guess, I hope I'm going to have an awesome time during band. And may my stamina last till the night! :)

Cells!

Today was an awesome day! Well at least for Microbio prac that is. The great thing about being in a biomedical science is that... You get your own microscope for practicals! Well some of the other course may get it as well, but I'm sure not every student in Singapore has this chance isn't it? Especially at our age. I guess, interest difference.

So well we made staining preparations, like how we can see those usually-transparent cells to become coloured under the microscope. It's so awesome! And seeing the cells that YOU stain makes seeing them so much more enjoyable. Well even though I failed to stain my lovely Bacillus cereus... Oh and the best part is... Seeing your own cheek cells!

Ahh well, the world of science never fails to amaze me :)

Today I returned back to my French class. Whew, I seriously need to revise more! But I love the fact that my teacher now sort of interacts more with us, instead of purely teaching. It's interesting to know about French literature, songs and etc. Really fun!

Okay today is a short post but I'm going to post a video I made. It's a compilation of photos which I took during my holiday in Indo! And the song I used in Porcelain by Moby, which is a song I really love hehe. Here goes:

Stressed out?

Bamboo strips.

Righty... Today was a seriously-outing-Sunday. Cause practically I went out from like 2 - 7! Well I know that's a really long time and yes I sort of feel guilty for doing so. And well, and but... I think it's fine to have an outing like this. It's not like I'll do this EVERY Sunday right? So well perhaps yup, I need to learn how to organise my time more.

But so much for going out for that long period, I get nothing but food to fill my stomach up. And I freaking snapped my FILM!!! This is so irritating, This is the second time my film snapped on my uncle's SLR. Rawrrr I took so much awesome pictures and now, everything is gone. Life is so unfair! No no no, why must this happen to me?

Anyway back to my day, actually the reason why I want to go out today was to check on a few things. And well here goes the list:

1) iPhone!

Since my plan has expired, I wanna re-contract and get an iPhone for myself hehe. But I'm not sure if I wanna get it cause after hearing what WQ told me about how "selfish" the iPhone is... So yeah. And I'm thinking of getting iPhone 5 (which is out in Jan :P)

2) A digital compact camera!

Since my sis' cam is now returned to her, I'm thinking of getting a new one, cause it's a bit troublesome if I were to bring my babe (DSLR) to go for events which is not-DSLR-friendly. Like for example some outing or camps... You know yeah. And the worst thing is... I'm spoilt for choice! :/

3) 28mm lens (Don't worry I'm still in deep consideration about this)

My uncle's film SLR uses a 28mm lens. And I'm hooked by how beautiful the pictures turned out! So I think a 28mm is really a great lens eh, but I'm not sure what to get as well. And now I feel like getting the 11-18 mm Tamron one, but it's so freaking EX!

So those are the things that I am looking for but well, didn't get any. Well at least I know some of the info of those things I'm going to buy eh, I'm not even sure whether I will -really- buy those things :P

And today... Well I sort of learn to accept the teaching that every unfortunate things that happened to me (like my snapped film) is a blessing in disguise. Gonna try to look things on the bright side. I seriously can't believe that I was feeling stressed because I couldn't choose, or I was having so many choices about the compact cameras.

And another thing - RWP reports! I'm seriously stressed and confused about it. Do we have to do EVERY reports shown on BB? I do know it sounds a bit absurd, can't imagine if like every group will have to present 10 freaking reports. That would take forever! So I'm just gonna do like 2 or 4, and thank God, I'm grouped with Candy, and I think Kai Xuan as well hehe.

Okay that's all for this long and tiring day! Lets hope my second week of Sem 2 will be as awesome, or no... Must be better than my first week! And this goes on and on with the consecutive weeks, semesters, years :D Haha, nothing's wrong with hoping for the better. Okay see you then!

Today was sort of a rainy day! Yay, haha. Well not really rainy, like raining the whole day, but I do know that it rained for quite a while just now. Thank God it didn't rain for the whole day, or else it would really suck our day. Cause we went outing today! Jes, Ade, MF, WQ and me! To celebrate Jes' really really belated birthday haha.

So met WQ and Ade first at Clementi interchange cause we wanna write our messages in the book that Ade created for our present. Then MF came, then Neal and last but not least Jes. Went to the ramen shop at Holland, I brought them there hee. Glad they liked the noodle, though they find the tan tan ramen a bit too peanuty.

Went to Haagen Daz next for desert :D Bought cake for Jeslyn and we sang her a birthday song haha, classic! :P And slacked all the way there till about 6. WQ went off first cause she went to the Kpop night concert! Lucky her, I know that the concert is one hot concert! Everyone went to grab the tickets!

Headed to Vivo, supposedly for dinner. But oh well, thanks to them for accompanying me to get my new bag! Oh have I told you that my bag is spoilt? Is stepped on this buckle thing, and it's crushed into pieces :/ So I need a new one, or no school for me on Monday heh.

Anyway thank you so much for "bearing" with me! I know I'm one hell of a choosy person, but finally bought a bag, and it's nice! I like it :D After spending about an hour walking aimlessly, looking for food, thanks to the so-ever-crowded-restaurants on Sundays like this... We ended up eating Burger King, so much for walking a long distance! :P

And yup, that's all for the day hehe, looking forward to the next outing!

Righty... What else... I think that's all for today. I'm now ever-confused with RWP work, are we supposed to find a group for the project, or is it individual work? I'm so lost -.-" okay shall ask around for it. I'm not too sure either. Gosh, lost. I guess I shouldn't have... Fallen asleep there on Tue! Oops. Okay see you then!
