Productive

Wee, another productive Wednesday was today! Did lots of things again today, stayed back with Zaki to study as well hehe. And I managed to do what I planned to do again so yesh I'm very happy hehe. Nothing beats the joy of satisfaction when you manage to do the things you planned to do. And you stick to them and you did them and yep.

Morning was alright I guess, pharmacology as usual. Yay we're done with what we need for MST. Good news or bad news but oh well. At least we finish em! Pharmacodynamics is a bit of a ?? to me though, gotta read more. But pharmacology is pretty interesting. Biochem was alright again, had the class quiz again and this time round we got 2nd by half mark heh.

Nevertheless I think Mdm Mah's idea of having this quiz is a fun thing, we get to learn together, have fun and study! :)

After school stayed back with Syazwani to do our Biorisk work. We did everything, and turned out.. We only have to pick 3 activities -.- but anyway we ended up picking one from each of us (Me, Syaz and Reb). Zaki came after that while Syaz gotta leave for CCA. Studied with Zaki till about 7.40 and then we both head home. I met my sister in Clementi for dinner though.

Something "inspirational" happened just now.

While we were walking towards the MRT station, we passed by that plaza area thingy where there were lots of graduants outside the SPCC taking pictures, taking jump shots, giving hugs, with a big smile on their face. SP is having their graduation ceremonies from Monday to Thursday I think. And there were lots of happy faces here and there.

Zaki and I decided to stop to see the commotion.

Me: Two years later, we'll be there hahaha.

Zaki: Yeah man, all the best "gives that punch hi-five"

Me: Okay set, 2 years later we take photos there, and jump shots. I'll be the photographer.

Zaki: Haha okay

Me: And who knows? When we are there two years later, there will be two year 2s talking the exact same thing right here.

Hahaha, it's a pretty awkward statement but somehow... True and enlightening I suppose :)

Oh well seeing the graduants made me happy for them. Their 3 years of poly life have come to an end and of course it's time for them to celebrate. It will be our turn 2 years later, and some of my friends (and I) can't wait to graduate (as seen from their FB status and tweets). Same for me, I can't wait but... They will be the inspiration for me to work hard! :)

Alright I feel happy for accomplishing many things in the afternoon but well, I didn't do so at night. Ended up doing nothing, and I'm freaking sleepy right now (it's 12:51 now, look how long I left my blogger on the page but not blogged). But I guess... I shall sacrifice tonight, and use tomorrow to pay back my unused time today.

Sweet, that's all for today I guess! And yayness, it's gonna rain soon! Please rain tonight, I want a cold morning tomorrow :P

2 more years. Lets make them a wonderful one.

Sailing FOC 2011 :)

View from topper room @ Poly marina

Hey! So I'm just back from the sailing camp~ It's pretty awesome! finally get to sail again after about one year plus... Even though the wind on the first day wasn't that nice, the wind today was awesomely great. There were some fast winds just now and it was really fast to swim on that wind, cause my boat just went vroom haha.

It was a 2D1N camp, reported at clementi at 9 AM, and we went to poly marina then. My group went for sailing first, then the day 1 games. And after that there were the night games which were really fun as well, especially that not I sir game hahaha. And then lights off! I think this is the first time in my life that I got 8 hours of sleep in a camp -.-

2nd day was more of sailing. But this time roung my group went for the games first, then sailing. Today'was wind was damn nice! I really love it hoho. Was sailing with Wai Tat. So sorry for my really bad sailing skill heh. Sailing in a Pico is so... Unknowingly hard. There were so many times where I didn't feel I was pointing/bearing too much. Hence my direction was all over the place.

We then washed up, recovered and debriefed. I stay a while more to help them wash the power boats, and to clear the topper room. Which after that I went to eat dinner with Zaki at the west coast market. Damn, I ordered $3 of carrot cake, only to realise it's for 2 people :O But I finished it, that's how hungry I am :P

Well I guess I'm joining the sailing club. But no worries I'm not leaving band. Since sailing is on Sunday, hence it won't clash right hehe. Sailing is something really nice. Today the weather was so nice (and hot) and sailing under the wide blue sky was just something I really love. Undescribeable with words... And the wind is (Y) as well.

Honestly speaking I prefer being the crew heh. Well of course I have to learn how to hem one day, and tag etc, but being the crew is quite fun too, handling the jib sheet. I was sailing on a laser 16 yesterday and I enjoy being the crew. And I was sailing a pico today and it was nice too, being the crew. Even though yes being a hem was nicer and more challenging.

My favourite part of today is when there was this huge ship wanting to cut across our area of sailing. Wai Tat quickly changed place with me and we were tagging here and there to move away from the boat. The water was choppy, the wind was strong. There was this sense of excitement and adrenaline which is... Nice! Hahaha.

And another one was when I was sailing and there was this fast wind-moment. I was sailing and the wind was strong, my boat almost flipped to the other side. I didn't hike out, but I bent my body back to balance the boat. And I was travelling at quite a high speed, it's so nice haha. Adrenaline ftw.

But well, with scraped knees, a broken spec, and a very tanned skin, I really enjoyed the camp! I get to sail again and yep. Kind of regretted not joining sailing last year though, which I could have done... But oh well! Too bad I guess.

Alright that's all for today! Lots of work coming up my way (crappp). Lets finish everything and try to sleep as early as possible tonight. Ciao!

The wind, the sea, the blue sky = bliss

INNER MONGOLIA HERE WE COME :D

How I felt today - over the clouds :)

Woohoo! Today was such an awesome day, thanks to Kai Xuan who tagged me in an FB post where she told me that Candy, Kai, Jonathan and I are going to Inner Mongolia! At first I didn't believe like how the heck did she know. Then she told me email. And I saw the email from Ms Tan and the heading was "Congratulations........" and I was like Yaaaaayyyy hahaha.

Oh gosh, my fear is finally cleared and phew - I can finally heave a sigh of relief... I feel really happy that we are going for the OCIP! Cause as I once mentioned it will be such awesome fun if we can go to Mongolia together and do the CIP together... Cause great friends + OCIP = Awesome fun! And oh, Kay Heng is selected too! So more people I know will be going :D

Was so excited about this from afternoon. Now that it's at night I feel more "stable" already. Boy, you don't know how excited I was in the afternoon and evening. I might not show it on my face but deep inside, I'm smiling like a total retard.

Anyway today was alright I guess. Practical in the morning was surprisingly short, and damn it I hate myself for being so clumsy during practical. I spilled a vial of Tatrazine accidentally and said the F word in front of TSO Kelvin. And he was like "relax" hahaha. Sorry, didn't meat to say that but seriously, I was so clumsy in the practical. Why.... I don't know.

Since the practical ended early, we lepak-ed in FC5 from 10 -12. GM bio was... Ouh. So... Nevermind, think positive! I can do this! I will revise and revise and revise again. Whew. So muc things to do yet soooo little time. Why why :(

After school ate lunch with Min Li and Lizzie, then Zaki joined in. Went to library to search for the iGenetics book and OMG, can't believe it's all being borrowed. I guess I'm too late. Joined Bobby, Nic, Larry for studying at T11C, which after that Niv, Syazwan and Vivian came. I didn't really study (screw myself). But I got the TCA cycle better now :D

Sigh, I really hate myself today. I told myself I wanna do my work at night and now I get 0% of my work done. How wonderful is that. Plus I'll be having sailing camp tomorrow and Sunday. No choice, I gotta do my work on Sunday I suppose :/ Why Adhi why... I should have gotten more self-control... Oh well it's done now! I have to keep my promise.

Alright, I haven't packed for the sailing camp which I'm really looking forward to :D It's been such a long time since I went sailing and can't wait to try it again hehe. Be back on Sunday! Hope I'll have a great fun for the camp! See you

Nothing makes me (and you) happier, knowing that one of your life-long wishes is going to come true :)

Productivity

Wee I'm in school right now, still, with Kai Xuan and Zaki. Did lots of things in the afternoon so I feel really accomplished haha. List of things which I did includes:

-Lab Bio tutorial
-Biochem notes
-Biorisk RA (my part)
-Re-typing my group's Biochem CBL
-Pharmacology tutorial

How can I not be happy! Hehe. I love the feeling I get when I accomplish to do lots of things, which I target down before doing. At least I manage to do them, ouyeah. But not gonna stop till here, shall continue with more things tonight.

There's a reason to why I did all of the above things in school instead of at home. All of the above things require my lappy to be done. Laptop = Facebook = Twitter = Tumblr = Youtube and more. So might as well do it in school and not do it at home. I realise at home, I'm more productive when it comes to non-computer based stuff (like studying). In school, more of my lappy stuff.

Today was alright I guess. Pharmacology is alright, almost late for class but thankfully Miss Joanne was late too hehe. Biochem was great fun. It was our first time doing Case Based Learning and I really enjoyed it. It's really like discussing with my group, and it gets really nice and conducive. I know now that I didn't make the wrong choice of going to research.

Oh well I'm just hoping next sem's CBL will be as fun as today's, always! :)

After school went to study. Accompanied Candy and Kai while they collect the idemnity form for their sailing camp. Then to lunch at Moberly for Kai and then FC3 study area. Kai and Candy went for their Mongolian OCIP interview today! I really hope all of us (and Saeyeoh) can make it for the trip. OCIP with friends will be like one of the most awesomest thing that can happen.

And then I did all of the above stuff, which I'm really happy hehe.

Oh well I wish I have the discipline like I'm having today, everyday, everytime. It's pretty nice and satisfying when you know that you've finished all of the list of things you want to do. It's like reaching a goal right hehe. And discipline as I once said is something hard to get and maintain, yet so easy to lose in a second. With different factors of course.

But oh well what can I do. I'm trying my best to organise my time more (mentioned in the previous post) and so I hope these little things I'm doing will take me closer and closer in achieving that discipline I wish to get and maintain.

Alright I guess that's all for today. Can't believe I stayed back till 8 now. To study. It's a very satisfying thing to know that you have done a lot of things though. But I enjoyed the company Kai and Zaki have shared. Making study not something lonely and sad. I enjoy studying with friends, alone at home, many in school I guess. Okay ciao for the day!

It dawned upon me... Of if the day arrive.

Woosh

Long road ahead
Take it one step at a time

Right, I'm blogging while waiting for my pepes ayam to finish steaming in the rice cooker. What's pepes ayam? Chicken + herbs + coconut milk --> Steamed tadah. My sis brought it for me last Saturday so gotta finish em before it turned bad. Plus I'm alone at home now with my sis out with her friends.

Anyway today is Vesak day so Happy Vesak day! May all living things on earth be blessed and happy :) Share the love always people!

Today was a holiday so nothing much to do, except that my sister is flying back to Jakarta today. So we went for a dim sum lunch just now, plus buying things to bring back for her. After that I sent her off to the airport and my sis and her bf went with me to Plaza Singapura. And yay! I finally bought it heehee.

No, it's nothing related to camera heh.

Anyway I promise myself I have to get started on my studies tonight, and tomorrow. Whew, weekend was burnt by band camp, and the next weekend, sailing camp. Oh my, and exams are coming, works are piling, and so much more. I have to get things done! But I tell myself I can do this, I can manage my time well and take things at a time each.

I guess personally speaking, I'm someone who can't handle stress especially when lots of things are "running" towards me. Well I have to go and handle them one by one, but at times I just go kaboom and urgh I hate that feeling. But I won't do to an extent where I'll go and like breakdown and cry heh. Just that I'll be physically, mentally and emotionally tired.

The only thing I can do is to plan my things more (which is what I'm doing actually). I've kept this small agenda, apart from my black one, to jot down whatever things I need to do, or I will have in a particular day. This includes outing, dinners, camps, activities and whatsoever. So I can keep track of what I'm doing, and not just go boom boom.

I really believe in the 7 effective habits taught in the FLP camp. #2 begin with the end in mind, and #3 put first things first. When we can plan things carefully, and prioritise things more, I guess things will be done smoothly yeah?

Alright I guess my chicken is ready now. Time for dinner, bathe, then study! Ouyeah. I'll pull this through. I'll remind myself always :)

I wonder.

Hello HTC :D

Taken with my new HTC! T11A :)

Hello there :D Right right right! I got myself a new phone! It's a HTC desire HD :D :D :D Oh finally, letting go of my Nokia N82, after three long years. Both sad and happy to let go of it. Sad for I have shared many memorable moments with it, like my Swden trip, my secondary school days, and many more. Happy... Cause it's a better phone heh. And loooove the camera. And data plan! :P

So meaning I can Facebook more now, in class (oops), in bus, walking home, in the toilet (are you kidding me, yes) and more. And follow my tweet @adhiantos! Don't ask the cheesy name, it stands for adhianto suherli but I shortened the second name. And I want Adhi92 but taken, Adhianto92, taken. Rawr, Adhiantos it is then!

Anyway today was alright I guess. School was normal. I've learnt something: Eat at 11AM every Monday after the Gem bio lesson and not at 12. Then I won't feel sleepy for the rest of the afternoon! And if possible, try to walk about here and there after that. The rest of the day proceeds alright I guess. Hmm, thinking of getting the Gembio book though...

After school went to Macdonald cause there's this Mcflurre 2-for-1 promotion there and it's awesome. So Candy, Syazwani, Rebekah and I went there. 2 each, and 2 free. Yums. Rebekah thought it's the worst ice cream she had though. I think it's a biiiiiit weird too. Heh. And we went home after that, Candy left for phlebotomy.

Had dinner at this place called Spize at River Valley there with my sis and my dad's colleague. She's in Singapore now too! And we had a fulfilling dinner I suppose. Whew. But nice and delicious. Even though I feel my briyani wasn't that awesome but oh well, it's good enough to satisfy me! :D

Right that's all for the update I suppose. It's Vesak day tomorrow so it's holiday! And my sis is going back tomorrow too. So will be going to the airport with her as well. Okay ciao!

I came up with a new quote today:
Criticising people without giving them the reasons why is like coming up with a formula without elaborations. Not only you will make the problem worst, you won't find solutions to the problem at all.

PS: I've just received two very important and sweet things, which is very very important for my memory. Thanks to a nice Youtube user :)

SPSB FOC 2011 :D

Hello! I just got back from SPSB's FOC :D Well I'm supposed to still be in the camp now but I left earlier today cause my sis is coming to Singapore! :D So yep, gotta leave halfway :/ Nevertheless I had an awesome 2 days with my group - slide cream! I really love our cheer haha, thanks to Zachary for the "total ownage" movement at the end heh.

Anyway I left for band camp last night. The first day was nothing much except for cheers, the "podium" moment and grouping etc. I spent the night... Eating heh. Went to 7-11 with some of the band peeps to get stuff. And we almost got locked! :O And then I played cards with Alvin, Carmen, Randall, Kevan and a year one, oh dear I forgot his name. But they (Carmen, Randall, Kevan) were teaching us to play bridge :D

So I slept for a total of only 3 hours -.-

The morning was spent by 5BX, the fun style I guess hehe. But oh gosh, we went to W10 and somehow, some of the band peeps and me are having like itchy legs and hands. I think the place is too dusty or something like that. After that proceeded for breakfast, and then went back to W10 for more games. I like blow wind blow. I "cheated" for staying put, cause I couldn't hear what they said heh.

Next was lunch and followed by captain's ball. Haha sorry but some matches were really fun to watch! :P I didn't play any cause I guess I'll give my spot to the year ones. Plus I'm not good and captain's ball :P And while the rest prepare for the night games (AKA changing to their unwanted shirt), I took my bag and left :O

But I guess the band camp was a fun one! And plus I get to mingle around with some year ones, so it's a great opportunity not to feel so "lonely" with the year ones during band :P Plus I get to interact with the year 2s as well, who I'm not so close with previously. Get to know more people, the merrier :D

And yeah I guess that's all for today! See ya then. Preparing for a long weekend :O

Untold stories of the heart.
