Monday 29 June 2009

What a great day to start the new term. By being sent back home! I'm not sent back cause of having fever flue or anything, but there was a mix-up between MOH and MOE guideline. I shall tell you the full story here.

Well there are two guidelines. So I came back on Monday (22nd June). If I were to follow MOH guideline, 22nd is my day 1. So if you count, Sunday was my day 7 and I'm fine to go to school. But MOE says 22nd is day 0. So which means Monday is day seven and I cannot go. So.... Yes.

Anyway I'm coming to school tomorrow as planned. But todays was just hillarious, it's like funny but at the same time uhh quite troublesome because I've made my way so far from my house and then "You must go home". Sweeeet.

Anyway there's nothing much to talk about. Today is kinda boring haha. I miss school :( CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? Haha okay see you tomorrow then.

La la la
PS: This is weird, my pic never appear

Oh railway track, will you lead me to paradise?
Photography by Yours Truly

Hello! Yay, I'm.... So.... Ready.... To... Go... To SCHOOL! It's re-opening tomorrow! I am so excited! Yay.......! Ok I must have gone nuts thanks to my homework. Well yeah school is re-opening tomorrow. I don't know whether I should feel happy? Or sad? Or normal? One thing for sure. Life goes on!

Well for sure, it's term three. Term three means, second las term before the O's. Second last term before the O's means, we're running out of time. So as I said previously, I won't be blogging as much for sure, and neither will I spend much time on the computer and TV. But I'll spend more time on the table and on my books.

Well my sis is coming back to Singapore tonight (in fact she's reaching here soon) and yeah. What else let me see... Right I guess nothing much to talk. See ya then, have a happy term three people!

It's back to reality, I guess.

White flowers, how I wish I'm one of them
Photography by Yours Truly, taken in Sweden

Hello people! Another great day I suppose. Finished my MATH OMG YAY like finally lol. Finally I have reached that line, thaaat line. Well I'm as happy as a bee who just got like 100000000 giga litre of honey from 10000000 terra grams of flowers. Sorry too much Math lol.

Well by doing 4 papers. If you ask me, am I ready for full paper? Hmm answer is 80% ready. Some of the questions in the paper are really yricky. And they really squeeze your brain to get the answer. I'm done with a few of the EL focus homework too. I don't know which article to write about.

I cooked today! It's been ages since I cook and I cooked my usual pasta salad again, same old boring stuff maybe but I love it. Get the inspiration from Nigella Lawson's recipe. For those who don't know her, she's a kitchen goddess and she's good and pretty! Haha!

I love watching her shows, cause she shows how to cook like as if she were really cooking, and not in a cooking show. Just like she ask someone "Hey get that camera and shoot me while I'm cooking!". So everything is natural.

Right I'm still left with History and Prose. Should I slack? Or should I work. Answer is? Both! Alright whatever I'm rather nuts today. See ya then people!

Damn, why time in holiday flies so fast, but not in school time?

Friday 26 June 2009

Hello people, haha, I'm finally done with my Math homework... Uhh yes, I'm referring to the Casco book ONLY. Holy shit, the homework seems endless to me you know. It sucks. Nevermind when there's a will there's a way.

So my plan is... Tomorrow I'll be doing the rest of my Math homework, hence leaving me with history, prose and English. I'll do half (or all) of History tomorrow, and maybe prose. So I'll do everything by Sunday. Great plan, I supposed.

Today was not bad, at least I didn't procrastinate. I did some of the paper 2s from the Casco book and that's the reason why I finished the rest just now. I did take a siesta though, and it felt great. Somehow I felt uhhh nauseous when I was having my dinner. I don't know why. It's like when I took my 2nd bite, my stomach just grumble, cold sweat running and that's it. I stopped eating.

Anyway, heard the news that Michael Jackson has passed away due to cardiac arrest. Well rest in peace MJ, I was once his fan, that was like when I was young, really young. I love a few of his songs though, even until now. Songs like Heal The World, Ben, You're not Alone, Thriller, and a few other which I can't remember. But Heal the World is my favourite.

Right and this is a video of him singing the song. I'll add the lyrics too. Before I end this post. Peace to the world and rest in peace MJ! Your legacy lives on...

There's A Place In Your Heart
And I Know That It Is Love
and this place could Much
Brighter Than Tomorrow
And If You Really Try
You'll Find There's No Need To Cry
In This Place You'll Feel
That There's No Hurt Or Sorrow

There Are Ways To Get There
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
Make A Better Place...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

If You Want To Know Why
There's A Love That cannot Lie
Love Is Strong it Only Cares For
Joyful Giving
If We Try We Shall See
In This Bliss
We Cannot Feel
Fear Or Dread
We Stop Existing And
Start Living

Then It Feels That Always
Love's Enough For Us Growing
Make A Better World
Make A Better World...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

And The Dream We Were Conceived In
Will Reveal A Joyful Face
And The World We Once Believed In
Will Shine Again In Grace
Then Why Do We Keep
Strangling Life
Wound This Earth
Crucify Its Soul
Though It's Plain To See
This World Is Heavenly
Be God's Glow

We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart
I Feel You Are All My Brothers
Create A World With No Fear
Together We'll Cry Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn
Their Swords Into Plowshares

We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me
You And For Me
Make it a better place
You And For Me
Make it a better place
You And For Me
Make it a better place
You And For Me
Heal the world we live in
You And For Me
Save it for our children
You And For Me
Heal the world we live in
You And For Me
Save it for our children
You And For Me
Heal the world we live in
You And For Me

Sunset at Lapis. Lets see if you can find a story
behind this picture after reading my post.
Photography by Yours Truly

Hello people, long time no post haha. It's been a busy and tiring days, and somehow a stressful one too, and depressing one. I don't know why haha.

Anyway I'm back on Monday but was too tired and lazy to blog. Spent my Monday packing up my stuff and preparing for the SC camp on Tuesday. The camp, overall-ly was fun and great. Just that, which I'm sure most of the other SCs agreed, it has too much waiting time and tiring! Most of us (The sec 4s) slept at after 4 AM. Cause' we were playing murderer again hehe.

After the camp I was just so tired that I went home, ate lunch, bathed and just dropped dead from 2 PM to 9 PM. Ate dinner and then do a little math but I seriously had no mood, thanks to my somehow stressful and depressing feeling. Spent the rest of the night watching TV. Best thing about watching TV at night? Somehow all the good shows are there! Hehe.

Today, spent my time procrastinating. And somehow I love taking siestas now, I don't know whether it's because I'm tired, or is it because I have nothing much to do. I'm going to do my work tonight. Trying to finish my Math homework by tomorrow or Saturday perhaps.

Talking about my stressful feeling thingy, I don't know. After my return from Sweden I just have this... Unstoppable thinking of some retarded-stressful-back to reality-can't get out of my mind stuff. I wish one day I'll be free, one day yeah. And I know that day is going to arrive soon.

Alright people, I'm off to do my work. Take good care of your stuff alright, with the circulating H1N1 flu virus, everything is at stake. See ya people!

I wish I knew how, it would feel, to be free.

Sunday 21 June 2009

Hey hey people, back here to blog. Today (yesterday) was my last day of my trip here in Sweden. Did nothing much, just walking around Gamlastan, or the old town in Sweden. Had dinner together with my sis' friends and we played games and we.... Share ghost stories! Haha it's so fun. Right in today's programme...

Entrance to the palace (used-to-be)

Random street shot. That's a clock tower by the way

And we saw the change of guards!

That's the marching band. They play SUPER well!

Right let me share with you a video. It's the band playing a song called La Voix which means the voice. The song is sung by a Swedish singer who took part in a whole Europe singing Europe competition. I LOVE THE SONG. Enjoy!

Right we then take another walk around Gamlastan and saw some cool stuff.

Some violin guy, he plays really well!

View of Stockholm, from somewhere above.

Right so as my trip comes to a close, I feel sad... I feel I should spend even more time here... Well too bad I still have the school to focus on. Don't worry I will visit here again someday, I promise. It's a beautiful country (Well for the view, Norway is better heh heh) but I love the city. It's bustling and yet they still manage to keep the history up.

Right I guess that's all for the pose. It's 1.20 AM here and I'm kind of sleepy and tired. Just finished the ghost story sharing session with my sis' friends and yeah. Righto, see ya!

Yes, I'm going to come back.

Saturday 20 June 2009

Hej (hey) people! Right wanted to blog last night but I fell asleep. Shall talk about what I did yesterday tomorrow maybe. Cause today is the Midsummer Festival Celebration! Well as I said, summer = warm sunny blue skies kind of thing right, well today, sadly, no. You shall see.

The celebration is at Vaxholm, 45~ mins bus drive
This is the view when I alight from the bus!

Took a walk, found the Vaxholm fortress

Had a DELICIOUS lunch of herring, salmon and shrimp

Summer wouldn't be complete without Ice Cream!
(Even though it was 14 degree Celsius then)

The town people preparing a pole thingy, you'll see.

The ladies are supposed to wear this. Made out of
twigs and flowers and leafs. Well I made it for fun
(I didn't wear it! :P)

After the pole is done, we went to a field and...

Lift it up and 1, 2, 3...

And it's up! The pole symbolises fertility and
we're supposed to dance around it. BUT...

Wonder what those white things are?
They are not flowers or mushrooms...

They are ICE! There was a hailstorm then
it rained ICE, not water but ICE!! Haha cool!

Took a boat back to Stockholm, and it was sunny..
DAMN IT haha, but it rained in Stockholm soon

Well yeah that's the mid-summer celebration. It was fun and cool, especially to see the town people's warmth and spirit of camaraderie. They are all so loving and they keep their tradition up! What's good? They allow tourists to join the fun. I saw two Japanese ladies helping to create the pole, and one Chinese guy carrying the pole. For me? I help them make the ring thingy hehe.

And hailstorm, that's a strange phenomenon in a summer day. And it's my first time seeing it too. It's kind of cool though hehe. But this celebration is like so awesome. People have holidays and they went out for outings, campings and picnics. I wonder if one day, we can do this in Singapore too? Wouldn't it be fun? It will, yes.

Alright I'm kind of sleepy now. Two more days, sigh, why does time fly so fast? But I will come back here and explore more of this country. One fine day, yes.

Happy mid-summer festival people!

Thursday 18 June 2009

Hello people, I'm back from Norway. Tell you what, it's such a GREAT and BEAUTIFUL country! Oh man if I were to migrate there, I won't mind at all... Heh Right let the pictures tell you the reasons why...

Oslo airport. Sorry can't find "welcome to Oslo" so I take toilets!

A huge square outside Oslo central station.

We take a walk near the sea. Cool eh.

We take this sightseeing tour around the coastline.
Can you believe it, they wanted to build an airport here...

Peace to the world! Or maybe to the view heh

We took a train to Bergen, somewhere in the west
Just look at the view...

We stopped at Finse, and... I SEE SNOW WITH
MY OWN NAKED EYES! FINALLY!

Reached Bergen at 10.38 PM. And it's still bright...

On the way to Bergen Station next morning. Random sign

Took a train to Voss. Again, beautiful river!

Get ready for the boat ride, that makes you say "Life's good"

Because you'll see this

And this

And this

The boat takes us to Flam and I played swing there. Woots

And this is when my HP died.

And so more pics will be coming later from my sister's camera. But Norway is such a BEAUTIFUL country, and just by looking at the view I was just STUNNED and amazed by the country.

I made a promise, one day I shall return to this country, it's just too beautiful to not go to such a country again right. And to whoever wants to go Norway, tag me along yeah! Haha

And I touched snow for the first time in my life! I'll show you the picture later. Okay I wanna rest, more pictures coming. Yup...

Life's good, at these times.

Monday 15 June 2009

Hello people, good morning! Haha it's 6 o clock here and I'm preparing for a trip to Norway! Yay haha. It's cold out here but I love it, as compared to the hot and humid weather of Singapore right?

Picture time!

Central Station, it's like Orchard in Singapore

Somewhere in the Central Station. Was looking for food

Sweden Macdonalds! It looks a little purplish.
(Don't worry we don't eat here :P)

Sweden @ 5.30 A.M.

Well the first day has been nice. But it's raining! Damn it, I thought summer will be sunny and warm and bright and blue skies but well it's grey and cloudy and COLD. It was 9-12 degree yesterdat and I bought a new jacket, cause mine is too thin as I thought summer will be like 17-22 degree kind of thing haha.

The food is not bad, I went to a restaurant (It's restaurang here) that looks like the one in Ikea. It's yummy~ and I ater the meatballs for breakfast hoho. It's weird to walk around and you see everyone around you is a westerner. Unlike Singapore where you have Asians everywhere.

Okay ciao, more pics to come but I'll be going to Norway for 2D1N so may not blog these two days. See ya then!

Norway, reminds me of Salmon.

Sunday 14 June 2009

Alrighty, it's up. To read my post just click the pictures to enlarge it. I'll put additional pics too.

Enjoy! :D
