Nope, I didn't see fireworks today, the title refers to Katy Perry's song firework! It's really nice, even though you may be surprised that I do actually hear this song, cause it's quite ra-ra. But I like up-beat songs now, totally make my morning, and night heh. Plus, listen to the lyrics, it is really inspiring. Anyway the song is not thaaaaat ra-ra, I can still withstand it :P

Anyway, sigh, today I went out again!! Arrrgh, well anyway I went out cause I went to get the things I need. Not like as if I went out for fun or something like that. Plus I did most of my work last week, so less guilty heh. So I'm blogging now so that I can start on my stuff at night! Yay :D

So. let me see what I get today... A pair of pants, Katy Perry CD heh, and a box, which I need for something. And went to take my developed pictures as well, which uhh failed terribly! Shouldn't have opened it! Crap crap! I guess that's the risk of using a film camera, some "unforeseen circumstances" can happen.

And talking about films, today I went out with my film SLR! Really nice, plus I'm using B&W films, really excited about how my pictures will turn out tomorrow. So yeah. But uhh I hate the fact that I get so much stares from other people. Cause they must have thought that I'm someone from the past, using such an oldie camera.

But who cares, I like how they turn out! :P

Right I guess that's all for today. Yay, there's no lab prac for Microbio tomorrow! :D Love it hehe so I guess I can sleep later tonight or something like that. But thinking of watching Khidir busking @ Starbucks. And thinking of shooting him as well hehe. Okay see ya then! :D

Hey people! (Wow it's been long since I said hey people for the beginning of my post) Today I had an AWESOME day! Well not only that today is Friday, which means the weekend is here, and that I ended at 10 today, but I had loads of fun with my friends! Teehee

Well so as usual ended at 10 cause I don't have IDEAS. So went to the FC3 study area with Candy. I was doing tutorial 3 while Candy was studying Cell Bio. Then I studied Cell Bio as well, cause I couldn't really catch what Dr Lai said yesterday about lecture 3. But anyway, somehow I liked it there. Not only the wind is good, but I just liked the place.

Even though it can be noisy at times :/

Then waited for some of the DBS/1B02 people to be released from IDEAS, had lunch there together, and we (Candy, Niv, Kai Xuan, Lizzie, Syazwani and Min Li) went to Moberly, at first wanted to sing K, but the next slot was 3 PM, so we went to Colours instead. Syaz had to go to SPICE, while the rest played taboo! It was so fun hehe.

And since I brought my camera, took lots of pics of them playing as well, and some also took shots with my camera hehe. Then we left cause some are taking part in the Human Wave thingy, while I have to meet Sharon, cause we're meeting up! Yay, finally~

Waited for time to fly till 4, and Sharon and I knew they're both (Wei Lun and Jojo) are going to be late, so we decided to leave the library at around 3.55. But still, they're late heh. Anyway we waited till about 4.40! And we headed to JP. That's the best thing about us, we always have no plan, then we tell a place, then we go to that place and carried it out mwahaha.

Headed to JP, bought tickets to the movie "You Again". And well... Last time I recommended the Back Up Plan to them, but turned out it wasn't a nice movie! So this time we just decided to watch this, since the others are either too scary, or we didn't know the story. Plus, the poster of the movie seems funny :P

For dinner we had Ichiban Sushi. OMG bought this set, which cost 15 bucks but it's so freaking filling! So worth the price I guess. Even Wei Lun can't finish it. And we took lots of photos, plus Jolene's favourite of camwhoring :P And we chatted a lot! That's the best part :) I love chatting with them, and sharing my problems sometimes.

The movie was really really good and hilarious! Well I fell asleep at one part of the movie cause I was really really tired. But was awakened by the dancing part haha. It was quite hilarious. But overall-ly, the movie is nice, and no one is put to blame! :P

Yup that's all for the day so far, thank you again everyone for making today such a lovely day! :D

Sigh, oh well after today I sort of learnt something. Sometimes I wonder, in fact I knew that in the future, I will not be able to do this anymore. I won't be able to go out every weekend night, every Friday with my friends and have fun once again. I'm sure everyone will go to their own way, and it's rather impossible to go out once we are old.

So I told myself, enjoy these moments, enjoy this freedom, enjoy this fun we have and treasure them in your memory. For you will only be able to enjoy these moments in the future in the form of a memory, and not reality. For you will never be able to enjoy this genuine kind of freedom and happiness you had with your friends.

Life is imperfect, nothing lasts forever, and good things come to an end. So make out the most from the things you do now, and enjoy the memories you have in the future. And if possible, relive those moments once again.

So therefore, I have another thing to be added to the list of things before I die - To relive moments which I once had when I was young once more. Be it eating in FC4, or going to JP with Jo and the rest, outing with Neal, had a meal in Holland, ate at the foodcourt I used to eat while I was in PTPS, and so on.

Sigh, why do I get so emo-ey?

Okay that's all for today, this awesome day. I'll hope more of these days will appear! I enjoy the accompany of my friends, and yes it's a great stress-reliever too, cause it's the weekend so nothing's wrong with having fun! :) Okay see ya!

Happy 500th post!

Dear Life Symphony

First of all, wishing you a happy 500th post! It has been a beautiful 2 years, and almost 1 month blogging with you. You have been a wonderful friend of mine, as you bear with me, as I tell you my life's story :)

Thank you for being such a patient person, for I have ranted on you, complained, angry and stuff. But don't worry! I have began to make you look nicer by posting pictures eh.

Anyway, once again thank you very much for the 500 posts that I have written, life's symphony is one of the place where I can truly let go of my feelings and worries. Where I can express my feelings, where I can just let my emotion run out of my heart, and into there, the words.

So lets continue to work together beautifully, and I hope we can continue working for another 500, or thousands, or millions posts! And let my dream of blogging till time runs out for me come true.

So well right now I'm in Mug@Moberly with Lizzie, Kai Xuan and Syazwan. I'm waiting for band while Kai is waiting for sailing PT. I've decided to blog cause I know I'll go home late tonight, so I think to save time I'll blog now I guess.

Anyway today was hmm normal. Haha, I just realised this semester will be a fun one! Cause all of my teachers are so awesome. Ms Adeline is nice, Mrs Mark is nice, everyone is nice I guess! Not saying that the last sem's teachers are not nice, but well yeah, you know hehe. They are both awesome eh.

Anyway I met up earlier with Candy to finalise our job in RWP. And yes we did an awesome job! Thank you Candy for helping me to edit the slides! The powerpoint, which was 21 slides, has been compressed into 17 slides, and that's including Candy's parts! (Cause 21 was solely my part, amazing eh?)

Then microbio lecture, it was fun as well. I like those new things we learn about the characterisation of different cell types (sounds so literature-ish). I find them really cute, well on the appearance, if it does something to my body then urgh, that's a big no no.

So yup I guess that's all for today I guess, I hope I'm going to have an awesome time during band. And may my stamina last till the night! :)

Cells!

Today was an awesome day! Well at least for Microbio prac that is. The great thing about being in a biomedical science is that... You get your own microscope for practicals! Well some of the other course may get it as well, but I'm sure not every student in Singapore has this chance isn't it? Especially at our age. I guess, interest difference.

So well we made staining preparations, like how we can see those usually-transparent cells to become coloured under the microscope. It's so awesome! And seeing the cells that YOU stain makes seeing them so much more enjoyable. Well even though I failed to stain my lovely Bacillus cereus... Oh and the best part is... Seeing your own cheek cells!

Ahh well, the world of science never fails to amaze me :)

Today I returned back to my French class. Whew, I seriously need to revise more! But I love the fact that my teacher now sort of interacts more with us, instead of purely teaching. It's interesting to know about French literature, songs and etc. Really fun!

Stressed out?

Righty... Today was a seriously-outing-Sunday. Cause practically I went out from like 2 - 7! Well I know that's a really long time and yes I sort of feel guilty for doing so. And well, and but... I think it's fine to have an outing like this. It's not like I'll do this EVERY Sunday right? So well perhaps yup, I need to learn how to organise my time more.

But so much for going out for that long period, I get nothing but food to fill my stomach up. And I freaking snapped my FILM!!! This is so irritating, This is the second time my film snapped on my uncle's SLR. Rawrrr I took so much awesome pictures and now, everything is gone. Life is so unfair! No no no, why must this happen to me?

Anyway back to my day, actually the reason why I want to go out today was to check on a few things. And well here goes the list:

1) iPhone!

Since my plan has expired, I wanna re-contract and get an iPhone for myself hehe. But I'm not sure if I wanna get it cause after hearing what WQ told me about how "selfish" the iPhone is... So yeah. And I'm thinking of getting iPhone 5 (which is out in Jan :P)

2) A digital compact camera!

Since my sis' cam is now returned to her, I'm thinking of getting a new one, cause it's a bit troublesome if I were to bring my babe (DSLR) to go for events which is not-DSLR-friendly. Like for example some outing or camps... You know yeah. And the worst thing is... I'm spoilt for choice! :/

3) 28mm lens (Don't worry I'm still in deep consideration about this)

My uncle's film SLR uses a 28mm lens. And I'm hooked by how beautiful the pictures turned out! So I think a 28mm is really a great lens eh, but I'm not sure what to get as well. And now I feel like getting the 11-18 mm Tamron one, but it's so freaking EX!

So those are the things that I am looking for but well, didn't get any. Well at least I know some of the info of those things I'm going to buy eh, I'm not even sure whether I will -really- buy those things :P

And today... Well I sort of learn to accept the teaching that every unfortunate things that happened to me (like my snapped film) is a blessing in disguise. Gonna try to look things on the bright side. I seriously can't believe that I was feeling stressed because I couldn't choose, or I was having so many choices about the compact cameras.

And another thing - RWP reports! I'm seriously stressed and confused about it. Do we have to do EVERY reports shown on BB? I do know it sounds a bit absurd, can't imagine if like every group will have to present 10 freaking reports. That would take forever! So I'm just gonna do like 2 or 4, and thank God, I'm grouped with Candy, and I think Kai Xuan as well hehe.

Okay that's all for this long and tiring day! Lets hope my second week of Sem 2 will be as awesome, or no... Must be better than my first week! And this goes on and on with the consecutive weeks, semesters, years :D Haha, nothing's wrong with hoping for the better. Okay see you then!

Today was sort of a rainy day! Yay, haha. Well not really rainy, like raining the whole day, but I do know that it rained for quite a while just now. Thank God it didn't rain for the whole day, or else it would really suck our day. Cause we went outing today! Jes, Ade, MF, WQ and me! To celebrate Jes' really really belated birthday haha.

So met WQ and Ade first at Clementi interchange cause we wanna write our messages in the book that Ade created for our present. Then MF came, then Neal and last but not least Jes. Went to the ramen shop at Holland, I brought them there hee. Glad they liked the noodle, though they find the tan tan ramen a bit too peanuty.

Went to Haagen Daz next for desert :D Bought cake for Jeslyn and we sang her a birthday song haha, classic! :P And slacked all the way there till about 6. WQ went off first cause she went to the Kpop night concert! Lucky her, I know that the concert is one hot concert! Everyone went to grab the tickets!

Headed to Vivo, supposedly for dinner. But oh well, thanks to them for accompanying me to get my new bag! Oh have I told you that my bag is spoilt? Is stepped on this buckle thing, and it's crushed into pieces :/ So I need a new one, or no school for me on Monday heh.

Anyway thank you so much for "bearing" with me! I know I'm one hell of a choosy person, but finally bought a bag, and it's nice! I like it :D After spending about an hour walking aimlessly, looking for food, thanks to the so-ever-crowded-restaurants on Sundays like this... We ended up eating Burger King, so much for walking a long distance! :P

And yup, that's all for the day hehe, looking forward to the next outing!

Righty... What else... I think that's all for today. I'm now ever-confused with RWP work, are we supposed to find a group for the project, or is it individual work? I'm so lost -.-" okay shall ask around for it. I'm not too sure either. Gosh, lost. I guess I shouldn't have... Fallen asleep there on Tue! Oops. Okay see you then!

Anyway, my internet has not been fixed... YET. I called them and they told me that they;re still fixing some server thingy there, and some calbing stuff. So don't know. I'm just gonna believe and hope that it will soon be fixed. Law of attraction!!!

I didn't blog last night, cause yes firstly was the internet. Even my guardian's internet has problems. So I didn't blog. Gosh, that's why I came up with a new line about technology. It's complicatedly - convenient! When it's working fine it makes things convenient, but not when it's in bad mood. It'll totally ruin your mood too. Yes.

So today was a very super short day, but thanks Sharon for accompanying me for lunch and starbucking together :D

Had 2 hours of Maths today, and I'm free! Cause I had no IDEAS. Which mean 10 AM dismissal time every Friday, woo la la! But had to finish up my Dip-Plus stuff, so I stayed back with Candy cause she was waiting for Kai Xuan and I'm waiting for Ying Zhi. I finished my homework! Yay! Except for RWP though, which I plan to do tomorrow/Sunday.

And yes I've withdrew from my Dip Plus programme. And Mr Woo told me it's a point of no return. I won't be likely to return to Dip Plus anymore after this. Anyway, I've decided to drop it. So I won't regret it. As I once said, the only time I'll regret my decisions I made will be when I become a wondering spirit on Earth :)

After that I met Sharon! Actually I met Sharon before that, then she followed me around eh. Sorry! But thanks a lot! Then met Brenda and pass her the things I am giving for her and Sandra, and then ate lunch with pow as Brendy went for her GEMS. Had my first taste of Starbucks @ SP! Crème-Brule Machiato fantastico! Heh. It's awesome :)

Yup that's all for the day I guess. Gonna meet up with Ade, Jes, MF, WQ and Neal tomorrow! Celebrating Jes' super duper late birthday haha! Hope tomorrow will be an awesome day! :) Okay see ya then!

I've decided to keep a diary :)

Gaaaarrrhhh

Okay anyway, I've decided to blog now cause I plan to go and study at night. A little bit too early for studying, no? Anyway yeah, I'm eating out later with my sister so gotta go and yeah...

Anyway today was a normal day. Gosh, I have to re-switch my body clock seriously. Today I woke up late! I woke up at 8.30 and I have a class at 9, believe it or not. But miraculously I managed to reach school in time, slightly late by a few minutes though. Oh and thankfully the teacher was late, even later than me heh :P

Today we had Maths B, that's like Amaths, and I'm so dead, I looked at it like somehow I just learnt it! Meaning my memory of differentiation and stuff has been sort of forgotten haha. But some points rang a bell in my head :)

Cell Bio was next, haha we were all laughing at the teacher. Apparently he's from HK so his accent is a bit funny, plus he's funny as well! He told us he's from CSI (it stands for something, I forgot, but not the real CSI :P) and yeah it was funny. Then it was IO Chem and that was it.

Ate lunch with Rebekah, Nivedha and Min Li. Oh I swear, SP should really open up new places for eating or something like that cause we almost couldn't find a place to eat! Went to cafe and nothing, went to FC5 and it was so crowded! Thank God we met Min Li and Reb there, so we got a space heh.

About the title... I am sooooo pissed! Well as I said my internet went dead on Sunday when I returned here right? So I went to call Singtel to fix it. But turn out there's more complications on the wiring and stuff so it's not fixed yet! In fact it's dead. I'm using my guardian one now. Oh well lets hope the "checkup" tomorrow will fix the problem!

Okay I'm off for dinner, see ya then! I hope my study plan for the night will work. Arrrgh I so seriously need to change my body clock. Okay see you!

Okay I'm sorry but I have no mood to blog today. Haha, don't ask me why but yeah. Anyway just gonna share something I did last night. I played Defying Gravity, the Glee Cast version, on the piano. It's officially my most favourite song from Glee! Hope you like it!

First day

So anyway today was my first day of the new semester! So glad to have come back and return and meet my friends once more, miss them a lot! :) So well thankfully our first class starts at like 12 so it's no-rush day, it'll be horrible to have our first day so early :O

But poor Syazwan and a few others, for having GEMS at 8

Righty so first lesson was Basic Microbiology, and it was a practical. So well as usual, okay maybe not, maybe... As the perspective of the "first day" scene, the practical would be nothing but briefing. So I didn't bring labcoat and etc. And I was wrong! Crap it. But well yeah.. So I had to go and borrow labcoat from the TSO and stuff.

Anyway the practical was... Fun. Okay not so genuinely fun but I love the fact that we're going to have our own telescope! No more sharing! Woo la la, love it! At first I thought there was something wrong with my telescope cause it couldn't find this "ruler" thing we called the stage division, AKA I couldn't get it to focus, oh well. But it was fine later on.

And I came up with a sentence from our experiment today...

"I Bacillusly couldn't find the Bacillus cereus cells!"

Figure it out yourself :P

Then it was IO Chem, I like the lecturer! I think she's fun, and she's an Indon as well mwahaha. But yup her class was awesome, despite me not understanding fully about today's lesson. I guess I know why Mdm Ng once told us that the electronic configuration of an atom is SOOO much simpler in secondary school than now. Trust me.

I didn't go for French class today, cause I was tired, and I have to do something. Oh well I am now having fears of not being able to cope well for my studies. Now that I have Dip-plus on Tue, in the evening, before band, I'm not too sure if I can handle it even... Oh well lets try for the best shall we?

Went to Holland to develop some pictures to make something for my class hee. And yeah I couldn't imagine how tired I am after that. Cause I was running back and forth to find the shop, which have shifted somewhere else. And I went to Ya Kun to wait for the photos, to Coffee Bean to make that something, then back to laminate :O

Whew, what a tiring day.

Alright that's all for today! Hope tomorrow will be a great day, I'm so prepared for a 10 hours (I think) of day in school. MEOWW. Okay lets not give up! I'm sort of excited for Dip Plus as well hehe. Okay bon soir! :)

Hmm, today is the last day of my vacation here in Indonesia. And as always, I feel so moody today bleah. You know, foreigner, going back, leaving hometown, back to school, back to reality. The ironic thing is that I'm so looking forward for the new semester, but then I hate the fact that I'm going back to school and work and stuff.

Anyway, I'll get better when school starts :)

So today went to cut my hair! I know, somehow my hair was still short but I decided to cut it cause I like the hairdresser, the way he cuts make my hair looks nice! And plus it's cheaper here, about 5 dollars! Plus wash and blow thingy as well :P

Then went to took my film, and whew! Thank God the films were alright! Okay next time I guess I should go back to that shop to develop my films, and not in the usual shop I went to. But urgh, I hate the fact that the shop closes for a break time. Supposedly from 2 - 4 but they may drag to 5... Or start earlier at 1. So I'm not sure when they open! :/

Went to my dad's garden as well, this time round with my film SLR :D I wonder how the pictures will turn out cause I think it will be awesome! The sunset was so cool! And sadly my DSLR's battery went flat so yeah didn't take much, but took some nice shots as well.

Then dinner with my mum, sis, bro, sis' friend and my driver. At this restaurant called D'Green. It's not bad, so far I like the food there hehe. The ambience is nice as well. Hmm, time sure flies quickly, the restaurant was opened about 3/4 years ago I think, and I've been going there most of the time I went back. And they're still as good as ever hehe.

That's all for my day I suppose.

Sigh, time flies really quickly. I'm not sure if this is because I said this right at the last day of my vacation, or it really flies. Cause as I said, I once told myself how slow time moved during the first few days of my holiday. And now? It's ending.

Anyway as usual I'll write a reflection of my holiday hehe.

Well this holiday, I guess, was a great one. Cause I didn't have this "routine" thingy, which I used to have last time. Like going tot he factory, or the clinic. I guess, my dad's garden sort of save my life heh, cause I prefer being there. Rather than you know... But yup. And I guess I have more activities going on as well. Like taking pictures :P

And yes I took so many pictures this time round. Believe it or not I think I took about 500+ photos, shrunk into 200+ now, cause yeah some are failed shots. So yup! I think my shooting skill have quite grown from there I suppose. And I've realised a new passion for mine, photography that is :)

On the minus side...

I didn't get to drive :( Oh man, I would really love to do that but well, I didn't! I guess I'll wait for next year's long holiday to learn driving! And plus, my hometown road system has been changed quite -irritably- so it's gonna be quite hectic for me as well, if I were to drive down there.

I didn't get to work in my dad's garden either. Heh, blame it on me for waking up so late everyday I guess. And oh, I didn't get so poetic! Meaning I didn't get to write poems and stories and stuff. Or compose songs. But once more on the plus side, I can cover Wicked's Defying Gravity (on Glee cover that is)!

Well yeah I guess that's all for my post today. I guess what I've always wished for have come true. And well there might be some sad side to my holiday, but I'm sure to say that there is so much more plus side there. Nothing is perfect, nothing is. So yup, can't expect to have a perfect holiday can I? Oh, and I wish the weather could have been better :O

Right! That's all for today. Hopefully my journey back tomorrow will be smooth sailing. I'm taking an SQ flight. You know, SQ = punctuality. If I usually get onto the check in counter one hour prior flight, for SQ, it's better to be TWO hours. Heh, so that's why we're planning to go quite early tomorrow. Okay see ya!

The only thing I'm looking forward to tomorrow is taking an SQ flight. As for the rest... Bleah :/

So anyway, today was another normal day, but more of like a spent-outside-of-home-day :O Well yeah been out for almost the whole day today, doing lots of things! Not sure if it's good or not but it's better with nothing else to do isn't it?

Went to the dentist again, this time round was my 2nd sister. She went for a checkup, just to see how teeth are going heh. And my 1st sister was getting her braces! Impressive much, she chose a braces with ceramic colour, so you can't really see it when she shows her teeth! Thinking of getting such braces but well not sure about my defect :/

Then went to the supermarket to get some stuff. Re-stocked my instant noodle haha, saw some new flavours and looks nice hehe. And yep get other things as well, cause my mum will be accompanying us to the airport on Sunday so she won't be doing her shopping. So we went to get the things which she will buy on Sunday heh.

Um I went to develop my films as well. THREE of them! Believe it or not. Haha yes I'm hooked. One is my lomo, another is my old film camera, another is my uncle's old film SLR :D But uhh, the uncle who is in the store looked so unsure, bleah. This made me fear a bit about how my films will turn out! Here goes why:

Me: How much in total for everything?

Uncle: Umm you just pay me when there is no problem with the films

Me: ...

Does that mean my films can be not-alright?!

Oh man, I really hope they turn out great! If not I'm so gonna screw him, cause I can't go back in time just to get those pictures right? They are all important! Haha. Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers, touching woods, keep a rabbit's tail to get lucky hehe. Just kidding, but yes I'm hoping my films will turn out great!

I guess that's the risk I'm taking with films. Not only that I may do wrong things with them like over/under exposing them, or others. But also the developers! My first film that I developed here, in another shop, has like dots on some of the pictures. How irritating is that! That's why I turn to another shop but that's what I get... Oh man.

Alright I guess that's all for today. Sigh, can't believe I'm going back to Sing the day after tomorrow. And school is starting in the next 4 days. Time sure flies huh? Mcdonalds of my hometown!

Heh believe it or not I'm in my room once more! Even thought I'm not officially staying here yet, I don't know why I liked it here. I like the fact that since my room is a small one, when I play music here, the sound resonates really well hehe. So I'm going to get myself a good speaker for my iPod, then I can play those chillout songs at night... Bliss!

Righty lets get one with today.

Today was a normal day I guess. Except for one thing: Me getting an SLR camera! Oh wow wow! I love it! Haha. Don't worry I didn't get a new camera, that would be quite expensive right. I'm using my uncle's old film SLR! Nice eh. Turned out he liked photography last time too, so my mum was suggesting me to try his camera out, since I'm interested in films.

So today I went to my grandma's house to meet him and he taught me lots of things I suppose. Oh well, a film SLR is so different from a DSLR! So complicated, but yet fun! And film is also a bit "dangerous" cause we won't know how the picture will turn out, and it's all manual. Now I felt the importance of learning manual exposure on my DSLR :/

And it goes the same for photography, as it goes for driving. You know I can only drive automatic cars. Manual is a trouble for me. So I feel it's the same as DSLR photography and film photography. I find it bit hard, the transition between digital and film. It's difficult, but manageable. And as my uncle told me, it's al about the instinct and feeling.

Anyhow, I'm really hooked into film photography! Can't believe I finished a roll today! :D And I'm so happy cause I can finally shoot at night, which I can't, if it was with my lomo. Well duh haha, it's an SLR. And I also took long exposure shot!

Lets just hope the pictures turn out alright :)

Currently I'm blogging while listening to music. I really like this. Peaceful surrounding, music, blogging, which means pouring my thoughts out. Oh well, what else can I ask for? But gosh my dog somehow loves to bark at Thursday's nights. And here... It's a not-so-good night cause it's... ahem ahem. Okay shan't talk while I'm alone in my room. Hee

Alright I guess that's all for today. Sigh, so many things going on in my mind now actually. I just need something to clear them all from myself. I hope music can do that. Here. See ya!

Nice ambience eh hehe

Believe it or not, I'm in my new room now!! Well it's not a 100% done yet, still got things to clear and quite a few to do touch-ups as well. But well arrrgh I love my new room so much! Thanks to Vero, the designer haha. The room was built as much as I have wanted it to be. And I don't know why, it's such a great environment ro... Feel sleepy.

Anyway let me tell you what has happened the past two days first, then I shall "elaborate" on my new room :D

Yesterday went to fetch my sister at the airport. Firstly went to a mall first cause my elder sis is looking for a chair for her new room. So yup. My dad went along yesterday too. But he went to my brother's shop to check something out. So after everything we then went to the airport to fetch my sister. And we rode back, in... 2 hours time! Record breaking!

Today was a rainy day, I guess cause the past three days had been a sunny day so yeah. Went to took my specs, yay, I love it! And then went to accompany my sis to fix her phone as well, and get some screen protector for her phone. I also went shopping at this place called Brasco, so I bought two pair of pants and shirt. Not lucky I guess :/

Yup that's about it today. And yesterday. Well I guess my days here are better when my sister is here, cause at least I'll have someone to accompany me with to do things that I quite enjoy. Right? So yeah. Anyway let me elaborate on my room :D

Tadah! This is my room haha. Well my inspiration for this room is... Classy, simple, Japanese style, wood element, contemporary, peace, "smooth", calm and yeah. Don't you think you can "feel" them here? Hehehe

Actually the wooden part is not the whole thing, I made it like a "stage" or a platform in my room, so Japanese right hehehe. No chairs as well, gonna make it like a Japanese-floor-chair right hehe. The one nearer to the rear wall is for writing, computering and stuff. The one below that is for my keyboard!

Well I was thinking whether my legs will be "killed" by the suan-ness I'll get for sitting for a long time, don't think so I guess... And oh, those "holes" on the platform are for drawers, maximise space again hee :)

And last but not least this is the shelves as well hehe. On top will be where my TV would be placed. Nice frame isn't it! Below that is a place to place things in hehe. Was thinking of putting ornaments there, or my CD collections, or books, or I don't know. Since space is a cons in my room, gotta maximise space isn't it?

So that's my new room! Nice eh? Gonna thank the designer, Vero for the beautiful design. And I really can't wait to sleep there! Oh man haha, finally I have my own room. It's like in those comic books or movies, where the guys finally have their own room. I guess now I understand their joy. :)

Don't you just love it?

I love sunset, I always love them. I don't know why but it gave me a sense of peace, tranquillity. It's a beautiful scene that tells me that the day has ended, and a new one is coming. And it is so beautiful, it tells me to always smile for tomorrow. Sunsets....

That is so drama! But true right :P

Anyway yup, today I saw the sun setting at my dad's garden! It was my first time seeing a beautiful sunset there, the sky was clear and the western horizon was painted orange and golden. With the sun rays reflected on the plants and the paddy field. A wonderful scene that I'm sure you'll love.

Today was an alright day I guess. I can't believe I woke up at 1.20 PM today, gosh, well I slept at 5 last... This morning I mean, and I was so tired from the trip yesterday, I didn't have a rest from the trip onwards so how can I not be tired right? Hehe. Anyway yup.

Oh, last night was such a freaking cold night! It was so cold that I have to wear a jacket inside my house. Turned out the temperature was a freezing 15.5 degree Celsius! I think it was the coldest temperature so far since I came back two weeks ago. Well so apparently, cold temperatures at night signify a clear and hot day tomorrow.

I went to develop some of my lomo pictures as well, and the film camera my mum and I found. Screw the developer! I have these stupid circles on my pictures! Can I just screw them seriously. It's so irritating, some of the dots appear only in some of the pictures. And they appear on the same spot. I guess it's something wrong with the machine or something like that :/

I bought a blower too! My current blower is quite tiny to be used to clean my dusts off my sensor so I bought this super huge one. It's really huge haha. I hope it can deliver enough force to blow those dusts away! :)

Alrighty that's all for today. I'm going to Jakarta tomorrow!!! Gonna fetch my sister from Singapore and I'm also going shopping heh, well hopefully I can find something nice for me. Plus my dad is going with me, he wanna go to my brother's shop to check something out. Okay see ya then!

Sunset today :)

The BEACH

Today was a freaking awesome day! Cause I went to the beach hehehe. Believe it or not, we decided to go there at a last minute haha. It was in the afternoon when my mum asked me whether I wanna go to the beach and I'm like sure, and so there we go :P It was really a sudden decision, funny eh, but the trip was nice as well! :D

So well yup, we drove to the beach, the journey took about 1.5 hours. And oh, thankfully the weather was awesomely awesome! The sky was blue, even though it was a little hot, but well not bad I guess. I always love road trips when the weather is fine like today!

Reached the place, and we decided to go for a swim! I wanted to travel to another place to take pictures while my sis is swimming but well, due to the trip being sudden, I didn't charge my battery fully! (><)

Since we reached at about 4.50 PM or so, we swam till about 5 plus and then we decided to wash off, and watch the sunset, finally the time I've been waiting for arrived, sunset! Oh and I tell you, the sunset was freaking awesome! I really don't mind staying there, just to watch the sun set everyday I tell you. Well, provided the weather was thaaat fine.

And thankfully my camera died right after the sun dipped into the western horizon. Whew, enough to capture those moments! Really loved it just now, and the pictures turned out beautiful as well! Shall post them here and in Facebook, but my camera is charging so well gonna wait. Maybe later tonight.

Had dinner there and then we went back! Wow, what a beautiful and wonderful and fabulous day is today! Too bad my sis is still in Singapore, if not it would be more fun, the more the merrier hehehe. But she's going back this Tue though. And I'm going to Jakarta to fetch her teehee.

Heart wrenching

Escape somewhere far, and be free?

Hmm today was a blue day! Both blue in the sky, and in the heart. I guess now the sky is smiling after a day of crying yesterday. Which is good I think! The day was breezy as well, nice and windy and wonderful. It's been such a long time, or in fact I think this is my first blue sky here, and nice weather. If not it always rain here. Bleah.

Well today did nothing much. I went to develop my films, I hope they turned out great! Cause one film is used for my new camera film, which I hope will turn out awesome. And I went to the tailor to fix my pants. I have a long pants which is extremely long. Imagine it reaches half of my feet. Bloody long isn't it? And waited there for the tailor to sew it nicely once more.

Which usually we don't wait for him. :P

Uhmm, the day wasn't a good day for me, my mood especially. Well I've been... Sigh never mind I shall not explain it here, too complicated to be written and said here. I just want to forget it, but I'll somehow always be reminded by it. Gosh. I just hope what I'm wishing for, always wishing for, will and always come true. Once more.

But the evening was awesome! I told you yesterday about the top of my room thingy right? Yup, I think that will be my new place to hang out heh, cause I really like it there! I spent the evening shooting the sunset again. The condition is nicer cause the sky was blue! And the clouds were lovely as well. Plus the wind... Ohh, such a wonderful place and time to shoot!

Talking about shooting, the stupid dust specks appeared in my pictures once more... Arrghh crap, fear not! I shall fix this problem, on my own this time round. Yep!

And I also did another thing. Cause the weather was beautifully awesome, after shooting things, I just lied down on the roof of my top, close my eyes, and just... Enjoy the moment. The sound of the evening prayers from the mosque, the breezy wind, the smell of grass or wood, the beautiful temperature, it was just a perfect solution.

A perfect to solution to end my day, my heart wrenching day. My sad day. And when I closed my eyes and lied down there, I just felt completely out of this world. Like as if all of my problems were carried by the wind. Like as if I'm in peace, like as if I'm free. It was beautiful, peaceful and serene. Just perfect.

And I wish it can be like this, EVERY day.

Oh well that's all for today I suppose. Lets not dwell on what happened, and smile always to welcome tomorrow. But sometimes, we can't just simply do that. It always forces me to smile. Bah okay see you!

Lets not think about the future. Live the present happily instead.

Today's awesome sunset :)

Okay I haven't gotten my new specs yet but at least I've chosen one! It's a cool black frame specs, and I love it! The reason why I wanna choose a black frame is because... My silver frame always reflects light whenever I took pictures -.-" and it somehow becomes more shiny cause I used it when going to sentosa once so it got "corroded" by the salt water :P

Today was a... Rainy day! I think the sky was "taking revenge" cause it was hot and sunny yesterday, even though it rained a bit in the evening. So well thanks to that it is kinda cold now, and a bit windy as well. The weather is quite unpredictable these days, it can rain heavily and it can be hot and sunny. Oh well. The earth is suffering!

Oh today I saw one of the most beautiful sunset I've seen in my hometown. It's soooooo beautiful! The sky was golden and the sun was setting slowly as I took pictures of it. It was so awesome. And what's best was that I saw it on top of my soon-to-finish room! We have a staircase there and yup, you can see lots of stuff there. The view is superb!

Umm then I went to the supermarket with my mum again to get something for my sister. And that's about it for the day!

Hmm and I've realised I've been exercising for almost everyday... Or everyday, except Sunday, since the holiday has started! I feel happy haha, even though the result seems sort of oblivious :P But well I'm exercising for the sake of health and stamina, not much about looks. Cause I wanna be healthy, and have a good stamina! :)

The problem is, I hope I'll have the same determination to do this again :/

And as my favourite saying goes, nothing is impossible! Jesher mentioned climbing the staircase to the tenth floor everyday, I think it's a great idea hehe. Since I can't find time to exercise everyday right? And the place. I really hope that sentence shall not come from my mouth... "I will do that tomorrow" or "I'm lazy..."

Urgh, discipline is the hardest! Not the exercising!

Wee, I didn't blog last night cause I was too lazy to blog, plus there was nothing much to talk about, yesterday was a so so day though so yep. Today was another so-so day, but I just feel like blogging (yes I know this is weird but bleah who cares).

Yesterday I went to visit my aunt's brother, cause his wife just gave birth to a cute little baby boy! Oh man he's so cute, and tiny as well hehe. Went there with my fellow aunts and mum as well. While visiting I was about to sneeze, so I turned my back, walked a few steps near the entrance of the room and sneeze! You know why?

I was thinking about immunology, about how the newborn only has little amount of Immunoglobulin A from his mum's breastmilk. He then has to produce himself... Okay too much immunology, but yep, that's what we have to do actually.

Today was a normal day I guess. Went to accompany my mum to shop as tomorrow is chu yi (first day of lunar month). So we gotta buy fruits for prayers. After that, believe it or not I cooked! :P I cooked this snack called combro. It's a traditional snack here, usually stuffed with a salty filling, but I decided to choose chocolate instead hehe.

Hmm, I'm supposed to look for a new pair of specs but due to "unforeseen circumstances" I have to delay it to next day, even though I was supposed to go yesterday. Oh well, never mind I guess. I'm going tomorrow! Rawr.

Alright I guess that's all for today. Hope I'll find a great pair of specs tomorrow. I'm looking for one with a black frame, probably made from a matte-surface material. I think it's nice hehe. Alright see you!

I'm an ironic arachnophobic :P

Today was another gardeny day for me haha. This time round my aunt followed us though, cause she's here in my hometown! Yay, hopefully can meet my other aunts too hehe. So well yup, spent most of my day at the garden, I don't mind, told you guys that I love this kind of lifestyle eh hehe.

Talking about shutter, my title.

I'm referring to the camera shutter hehe. I gotta say photography is more of passion than a hobby. I used to just shoot shoot for fun, but now I think it becomes a passion. Which I think is good. For example, whenever I took a shot, I would tell myself "I'm telling ______ in this picture" or maybe "I want to capture a _____". Which I usually don't.

Last time I just shoot cause it's "Nice!" Haha. I think photography is nice, sometimes I wonder, after all the shots I have taken, I would put it inside the computer, and...? Well, I think each picture will represent some sort of experience. Each shot will show how much I've grown. I think it's nice, even though I rarely looked up at my past photos.

Anyway I gotta thank Sandra, cause I think she's one of the people that starts my liking for photography. I looked at her photos just now and felt so wowed by them. So that's why I bought a DSLR hehe. And I first regretted buying Sony, as I wanna buy the Nikkon D3000. But anyway, as the saying goes...

It's not the camera, it's the photographer :)

I really enjoyed shooting pictures, today I took almost 100 over pictures at my dad's garden, but of course that number is reduced. After the selection and editing and stuff. I don't know why, but I just felt so happy whenever I take pictures, very happy. Delighted.

So it seems like music. Whenever I play the piano, I feel happy too, I feel joyful to play music (unless I'm playing sad songs :P). So I guess photography has almost reached its par with my passion for music. And talking about music, I really miss band :(

Was hearing Impressions of Japan by James Barnes in Youtube, and listening to First Suite in Eb. Really miss playing my clarinet! And really miss playing in band! :)

Haha, but oh well... There's always another thing that makes me ponder and think whenever I talked about band. Nevertheless lets just enjoy music. Right?

Alright I guess that's all for today. Oh I forgot to tell you, my room here is almost finished! YAAAAY. The table is up, the "stage" is up, it's purely awesome. Can't wait to sleep there heh, and I love to go there as well. It's a nice place to relax, even though it's not finished yet. Imagine if it's finished...! Haha alright see you :)

Anyway I'm really happy with my results! Hehe as promised I will tell today right hehe. But I won't tell the full results and stuff cause I don't want to be marked as someone who loves to show off heh, so just the tiny details eh.

Okay so anyway my result is enough to make me feel happy! Even though I felt a bit cheated last night... Cause my ichat email told me that I have a perfect GPA of 4, then today in SAS... Well I don't get it, but it's still enough to make me feel happy! And I am relatively shocked by some of my results, especially Mathematics! :)

That's all for my results yeah.

Hmm so well today was another so-so day, went to accompany my sis to cut her hair while I go and get some films for my lomo. I've used Fujifilm and Kodak films, but... Now I'm using this China brand called LUCKY!!! I'm not sure if it's a good one or not, but I do know, somehow, that the casing for the film seems like it has been used once. It has scratches :/

But the films are alright I guess.

Then I went to my grandma's house. Felt so bad, I've been here for a week yet I didn't go and visit her. Thanks to my late-time-waking-up I suppose. Well it's really good to see her again, plus I met my aunts too, which I have not met for quite some time :)

And now I'm in a major dilemna to whether I should take Dip plus or not! Well Phlebotomy sounds interesting to me, and I want to take it as well. It interests me, and it's my dream to be able to draw people's blood, I want to take revenge! "Snickers"

But the problem is this. If I were to take dip plus, I'll have to add extra classes every week, well it's only about... I don't know how long per class that is, but I do know class equals to time right? Now put dip plus together with my French and band. That would be a perfect recipe for fatigue, more time to be managed, more time to hassle and more.

So how!!! Oh well we're given three days to decide, so I guess I'm going to take sometime to think about this, and hopefully I'll get a perfect and clear answer, and decision.

Anyway I guess that's all for today, looking forward to meeting my cousin (hopefully). Seems like he is working at my uncle hehe. Alright see you!

Whew, tomorrow is the day! Of gosh, it feels like I'm having another O level, a mini one though. Seems like poly is making us to have mini Os throughout our three years, once every semester that is. Anyway, all the best to every SP student who is taking their results (more of seeing actually) tomorrow! Have faith eh.

As for me... I couldn't say much about how I feel, and what I'll get. I do hope though that I'll get god grades, and a good GPA score. I'm not hoping for a 4, I think it's rather impossible for me :( but anyway we'll just see tomorrow yes!

Hmm today... Was a VERY VERY VERY EXTREMELY windy day! I mean seriously. In the afternoon, the wind was suddenly very very huge and strong, as if it is trying to wreak havoc here. It's so scary! As if everything's gonna fall. The trees shook wildly like as if they were going to tumble down. It was really huge.

Now it's a bit windy too, so the day was relatively cold. My dad told me the corn at my dad's garden, some that is, tumble down :(

The weather is awesomely horrifying these days.

Today I went grocery shopping with my mum and sis today. And they were looking for some shirts as well. I got one too hehe. And oh something funny happened today. While looking for our shirts, there was this free-compact-powder-giveaway event. So people were queuing. The coordinator asked them to line up in one line only but....

Some people started a new line, and the coordinator was mad! Haha. She was like:

"You there! Shut up! Go to the new line!"

"I won't start giving until there's ONE line!"

"Hey hey where were you from? How come you're on another line?!"

It's so funny! Well in English it maybe not, but in Indonesian, it surely is.

Okay as ironic as it is, I've just received the news that I can know my results already! And well... I'm happy with my results! Heh, details will be out tomorrow as a fair share :P See ya people! All the best again to those receiving their results!

Beatrice and Virgil

Weird tittle? Nahh hehe, this is a book by Yann Martel! And I've gotta say it's one awesome book, one awesome literature book. Beatrice and Virgil itself is a play within the book, and well of course I shan't elaborate it here cause it's quite confusing to say it here, even I'm not 100% sure about the play. It's awesome though, filled with lots of ironies, symbolisms and more.

I just finished reading it last night, it's great! The ending is really really shocking but nice... I sort of like this kind of book cause somehow everything comes together at the end, which is nice. I've always enjoyed Martel's books, like Life of Pi!

Anyway today was an alright day heh. Accompanied my brother for a haircut, then followed my dad to the garden. I love being in the garden I guess, cause it's quiet, cold, breezy and just pure bliss. You know sometimes all we have to do is just to stare at the distance and realise, discover, enjoy the silence within you... Okay cheesy enough.

But seriously, it's nice :)

Took lots of pictures on my camera too, shall upload them on Facebook soon. Anyway I love taking shots there. Sometimes I wish I have the chance to go on the streets and happily shoot with my camera. One day, I shall, I hope.

And hmm... Oh, I've been really having WEIRD dreams nowadays. Well here we believe it's due to heatiness, or sometimes fatigue. Maybe mine is both haha. Okay here goes my lists of dreams...

Four days ago I dreamt of having another exam! This time round was Biochem I think. And I was late. The weird thing in this dream is that I took the bus 106 to SP, which I usually don't. I remember I was with Kai Xuan and she was studying with my on the way too. Then she told me she's freaking out and I'm like, me too!! Cause we were both late heh

Three days ago I dreamt of being in the scene of the movie Invasion. I remember me and some DBS1A02 peeps like Syaz, Niv, Candy, Bobby and others were in Orchard, then people started turning crazy and we rushed back home. Then suddenly I was at a temple... ?!?!

Two days ago I dreamt of learning how to ride a motorcycle! As weird as it may have sounded, I actually liked that dream :P cause I love riding on a motorcycle, even though I can't. So well in my dream I was riding a motorbike from SP to home. Then I decided to go to a foodcourt to have my lunch cause... I'm heading for band after that. So I even parked my bike, ate, then went back to the parking lot. But turned out an uncle beside my bike had taken my helmet, so I sort of "fought" with him to get it back...

Last night, I dreamt of going to... HONG KONG! In my dream I was in the Hong Kong airport, on my way to Singapore -.- so well yeah, I was weirdly, alone by myself. While in Hong Kong I was travelling in a bus, and was trying to clean my camera lens. You know I used this liquid to clean it, and in my dream suddenly, one bunch of liquid was being poured onto my lens! I freaked out cause I didn't want it to spoil right?

This is the weirdest part of my dream. While in Singapore, I met Syazwan, Wani and Niv. We were at the airport and we're catching an SIA flight. So we went together and we were puzzled cause we couldn't find the check in counter. And we realised we're at the wrong terminal... Then I had this idea of asking an airline to check us in first, and we went to Russian Airways (is there such a company?). And they told us they could not... So we rushed to the other terminal, but we could not find the skytrain thingy, so we panicked.

Interesting isn't it? I'm not sure what these dreams tell me, but they sure are awesome. Cause they involve things I wanna do, or I dream to do. Like going to Hong Kong and riding a bike! :P

Teeth

So does life...

Oh gosh, today I finally went to a dentist, after 5 years or so... The last time I went to a dentist was at P6 I think, yup. So it's about 5 years. And well turned out I discovered that I have a slight defect, my teeth and jaw that is.

So well if you realised, my teeth can't "close" properly, especially the front teeth. It can't come close together. At first I thought this was nothing, perhaps it's just my teeth, turned out that due to this, my front teeth can't chew things properly, thus pushing the job to the back teeth, or the molars. And due to this, my left back teeth is aching now.

Cause its job of chewing is too heavy, poor teeth :/

And turned out my jaw is also slightly more to the right. It's not balanced, so it's not really "straight". And this is also another reason why my teeth can't close properly. Well the good thing is that this condition is not serious, like it won't impair my teeth or something like that. I can choose to do a correction for it, but I think hmm it's alright I guess.

Believe it or not, today I had a facial!!! Yup, the facial for the face thing, to clean your face. Well my definition of facial, last time, was this process of poking your face with needle to get the dirt out. Well at least that's what happened to my cousin last time heh. But well it's not! Quite comfortable as well cause they did some face massage heh.

Umm what else... I think that's all for today. Oh guess what, my sis maybe coming back, AGAIN, maybe 4 days before I'm returning. Great I guess, can go out more often with her hahaha. Alright that's all, see ya!
