Vegetarian!

Fly, like the breeze.
Photography by Yours Truly.
It's been a while since I see blue skies.

Right, today is the 28th of February, and the 15th day of the first lunar month. The moon is shining brightly outside like a mirror in the dark sky. Okay what's up with the introduction haha. Anyway yes today is the 15th day and... It's time to go vegetarian! Well another reason is that I didn't eat any vegetable at all yesterday. So I felt really guilty :P

The plan has been successful so far. For lunch, I had pan fried tofu with garlic salt and powder. One word. DIVINE. IT's so delicious! The garlic salt and powder totally accentuate the flavour of the tofu. The tofu is bland itself so with this garlic infused crust, holy mama, it tastes awesome :D

Anyway my sis is coming to Singapore for their 3 day trip. I've cleared my room to make more space. And tomorrow I'll be starting school again but hmm if I'm not wrong tomorrow's lesson will be later. Yay, I like Mr Joseph Chan, he rocks! Hahaha.

Alrighty that's all for today. Hopefully can still go vegetarian till 12 midnight. Then it'll be a success. Okay see ya then.

Garlic salt is loved. Divine :D

Apologises

And for your info, I have removed the links to those who:

-Has moved to I don't know where
-Has decided not to blog anymore
-Has decided to stop updating his/her blog
-Has made their blog private.

If you want to be linked again or something like that just give me your link in the tagboard. Peace out yeah, not that I delete your link due to hatred or anything like that, just that I find it meaningless to keep a link that can be accessed/read. Then it truly defeats the purpose of a blog (No offence!) Peace :)

And I've changed my blog title to Ces't la vie too! I love that phrase.

And happy 370th post my dear blog :D

Hot

I miss those studying days, really.
Photography by Yours Truly.
When Physics, meets magnet, and boredom.

Right, don't get it wrongly about the title. Firstly, I just realised that these few days, the weather have been REALLY hot. I feel it's humid but I read a news article in hotmail saying that February is the driest month. I felts really humid though, instead of being dry. Humidity makes the hot weather even worst.

Anyway today is the weekend. which means no school and rest. Hmm yeah not bad. Somehow it feels really weird to actually be on a weekend in a poly life. Unlike last time, I don't have to study during weekends (yet maybe). I remember those Saturdays where I woke up early just to make notes, revise, do homework, do math practices and so on. Now? I woke up late.

And I don't have to do those things anymore. Well it's both a good and bad thing to happen. Good thins in a sense that I can break away from the hectic week (It's been quite hectic eh). And it's bad cause.. I have nothing much to do! And now I have another problem and that is to think what to have for lunch and dinner.

Today is a meat-fest for me. Cause I've been consuming lots of meat. I feel so guilty... So I am thinking of going vegetarian tomorrow since tomorrow is the 15th day of the first month. Hopefully it will succeed. If not, I'll try my best to eat as little meat as possible.

Alright I guess that's all for today. Tomorrow my 2 sis, her BF and my dad's colleague is coming here for a three-day visit. But they come at the wrong time, when I'm having school? Right... Haha but it's okay, they can have fun hehe. Okay see ya!

Earthquakes are scary yes.

A Little Song

Hello people, it's been long since I've composed a song. So here is one. I'm having mixed feelings in when composing this song. More of sadness, and somehow guiltiness that I have. So no wonder it's sad. Please comment on it, thanks!

PS: I have not given this song a name, so if you have ideas and suggestions please do tell me. I'm thinking of like a little lullaby for me? HAHAHA. I don't know so tell me yeah :)

First week

How I wish I could throw that feeling, to the sky above.
Photography by Yours Truly
But no, I don't think I can.

Whew, one week is gone now, quite quickly don't you think so? It's been a week since I'm back here in Singapore and it's been a week since my DPA GEMS module started. Really fast. Perhaps it's with the fact that in my classes, there's no clock. And without clocks, life seems to go much faster, like as I've previously mentioned.

Anyway today is the last day of my GEMS module... For this week. Um like duh haha. Alright anyway we did Facts and Lies about everyday data. Some told me it's confusing with the fact that I'll be working with the mean median mode. And yes to me it sounds like one thing, MATH. But well uhh, not really. It's actually fun. I teamed up with Candy, Mavis and Rahul. We split the job up and yeah so it's fun. And it's not that hard.

The class ended an hour earlier for us cause of our efficient job haha. Justin's group even finished their work in less then an hour I think. After class went to play Basketball with Candy, Thwe Ni, Jun Ting, Kennedy, Gary, Rahul and Justin. We (Candy, Gary/Joel?, Justing and me) won but it was a close one. 18/20 I think.

Then it rained and we gotta stop. After cooling off for like 20 minutes or so, Russ and I headed off first.

Met with Neal, Jes, Ade and Meng Fung at Sakae in Clementi. Ate really really a lot. And we played open number to choose the people who will eat like the remaining amount of food. Anyway it's a good time, since it's been long since we've met. And we're planning to meet again in April! Yeah.

Alright that's all for today. Currently I'm feeling really HOT. It's freaking hot, I don't know if it's me, the weather or what but it's hot. Even in my room, yes with the aircon. Well the weather is hot but I'm not sure why. Okay ciao!

I'll carry the guilt. Wherever I go.

Tired

Simplicity in life. Is a bliss
Photography by Yours Truly
Not a tea pot, but a soup pot!

Hmm, I've been feeling tired and restless these days. Perhaps I'm just so no used to the fact of going to lectures and ending my school late with 6 hours of lecture daily. But come to think of it, I actually spent more time in my secondary school life than currently. This is what we call... The effect of long holidays :)

Today we did Essential Speaking Skills. It was a really fun class with all the story telling and joke telling and pronunciations. Kind of reminds me of my English class before oral. Oh wow, that was like six? Seven months ago? And time flies really quickly. Had lunch at FC5 with class 03 along with Hadi as we were discussing with him of Justin's idea of opening up a new CCA.

Wanted to further discuss with them after school but Russ, Kennedy and me decided to go home first. For me cause I have to get dinner and yes I'm really tired. I fell asleep just now from like 7 to 9.30. Naps are really dangerous with the fact that I couldn't sleep last night due to the fact that I took a 2 hour nap. Amazing.

Anyway, I'm meeting Neal, Jes, MF and Ade tomorrow! Woots, long time no talk and see with them already. Miss them a lot uh, it's just like a month ago since we meet (for the BBQ) and it feels like ages. Gonna be a fun day tomorrow.

Alright people, see ya then. I ate a super early dinner today, so gonna eat supper to satisfy my tummy. It's been 6 hours since I ate. Don't want to feel hungry either. So supper is the way to go. Alrighty see you all!

Life seems to go faster without the clock.

Cravings

Life is like a card game. You don't know when chances come to you.

Tai-ti mania

Right, so today is a holiday for me cause I don't have any class to attend to. Both a yay and nay, cause I'm kind of bored without having any activities to do. Yay because I can sleep for a longer time! Kind of paying off my sleeping debts, since I've been waking up early in the morning for classes right.

Anyway, went to the bank today and bought lunch and dinner. When I woke up i have the cravings to eat Crystal Jade fried rice! I know it sounds weird but well, it's just some sort of sudden cravings and so I bought them. The funny things is that the waitress thought I bought it for two people, boy does she not know that it's both for me.

Did nothing much in the afternoon, apart from eating and packing up (I'm not even done with it). So I suppose gonna continue with my packing up later tonight. I really hate it when I have nothing to do, so well, anyway, the day is coming to an end right.

Alright school again tomorrow, so I'm going to hit the sack early tonight. And I think tomorrow's lesson will be an interesting one, as I've heard from others. So ciao!

Perhaps, it's just not the right time.

Caught in the middle

I have been walking, on a lonely highway.
Photography by Yours Truly
Jakarta.

Hmm, sometimes or maybe these days, I used to ponder somewhere, and then suddenly, flash, this thing just came into my mind and I started to think "deeply" about it. But anyway, um yeah, today was a great day.

Well we learned about marketing today. At first I hate marketing, anything related to business. Just not interested with it haha. But after the third lecture, it all makes sense and hmm, started to get interesting you know, the lecture everything. Love the video on how these companies "played" with our minds to get us to buy their things.

After school went to Hafiz' birthday party with Thwe Ni, Candy, Mabel and Hadi. The group A people went as well, but they went first. I'm really glad to see that he's alright, I know it will still take some time for his face to heal but I'm sure he'll go just fine.

Went home together with the same people and then home sweet home. Well it's been two days that my life in poly has started. It's really tiring, well perhaps because it's a totally new experience to me. It's totally different from secondary school life, and this change perhaps is kind of a shock to me. No wonder I feel tired.

There's no longer classes but lectures and tutorial. It's a 3 hour lesson, one hour break, followed by another 3 hour of lesson. But thankfully, the lecturer gave us breaks in between. No more recess but venturing to a food court to eat. No more homeroom systems. It's all new and different!

But well, all I have to do is to basically get used to it. I'm sure one day I will though, it's just a matter of time right. Alright then, no school for me tomorrow, but gotta do something tomorrow. See ya then!

I've been always a middle man most of the time, I realised.

First Day

Life is complicated. But it's fun, really.

Today was my frist day of the classes of my DPA programme. Today was fun! We learnt about product design and guess what, we were assesed on our CA1 on our first day of lesson. How awesome? Well so basically we were supposed to design a new product. I am grouped with Candy, Gary and Danson.

We designed this "Doodle Shirt" or a shirt in which you can draw/design a shirt in any way you want. Wash it again, draw it again and so on. I feel it was a great idea... Until the critics or our other peers critic on us! It was really fun though, especially when we question/shoot the other group with questions. Fun, "fierce" and funny at the same time.

Went to SMA with the other for the incident report. While the rest went to Mac for dinner, I decided to go home with Russ cause I'm really tired, with the fact that I reached home at midnight last night. But I hopped by Big Book Shop to buy some things and then bought dinner as well.

Hmm, I don't know whether I should unpack tonight, but well see first. Most probably yes. Alright then I suppose, see ya! And may y be meeting with Neal and the rest on Friday. Can't wait! Hope we can meet up, long time no talk already. Okay see ya!

It feels weird to start my classes in poly. I'm getting used to it though.

Back

Time, is an amazing piece of mystery.
Photography by Yours Truly
Time does fly quickly!

Whew, I finally reached back home now in Singapore. Feeling really tired, sad. You know the after-going-back blues, but well I'm kind of glad that I'll be starting school tomorrow too. So at least the blues will stop really quickly. Since I'll be occupied with things.

The journey was alright, just that had a super long jam just outside of the airport. It's seriously long, that I had no chance of eating before flying back cause I'm running out of time. The flight was alright too, just that it was a little bit bumpy cause of the turbulence.

Alright, just a short post tonight cause I'm really tired. Gonna bathe and hit the sack. See ya then! I'm really excited for tomorrow. :)

He's discharged! Yay. Thank God. :)

Saturday 20 February 2010

Gastric

Oh well, today is the last day of my CNY vacation. Time really flies yeah. And today wasn't a good day for me cause... I had a super terrible gastric when I woke up. I felt like something was squeezing my stomach like a wet cloth. Okay maybe too exaggerating but it's pain. I didn't even have the mood to eat stuff cause I'll feel like vomiting.

I took a couple of antacid and well it did make me feel better, but the pain came back in a while. So I've decided to go and see a doctor with my dad and sis. Well the doctor told me that my peristaltic movement of my intestine is normal. So is my stomach. So he said that most probably there's a bacteria that causes this painful effect. And with the addition that my eating pattern shifted yesterday, the pain become worst.

So he prescribed me with a few medicine, and after I took them, I felt SOOOO much better. But the weird thing was that I came down with a fever after taking the medicine. So I took a paracetamol tablet and took a nap. Oh boy, I felt so fresh after that nap, the fever is gone, no more stomach ache. It was awesome haha.

Ate dinner with my mum and sis and bro at one of my favourite porridge shop here. I missed it so much haha, so I wanna eat it. And oh yeah, I am having diarrhea too. So eating some of the diarrhea medicine.

Well, tomorrow I'll be going back to Singapore again. And Monday I'll start m GEMS module. Hmm, gonna be fun I suppose. Meeting my awesome Boa Boa group again. Well no more fun but more of seriousness in studying eh.

Somehow it feels really weird to realise that my vacation ends pretty quickly. I don't know when I'll be returning here again, most probably in June I suppose, or July. One week of vacation really ends quickly huh. And I feel that this CNY vacation is awesome, especially during the CNY celebration itself. Family reunion is always awesome to me.

Alright then, that's all for my 2010 CNY vacation. An awesome one haha. Tomorrow I'll be going back to Singapore so better rest well tonight. See ya then!

When time flies quickly, it feels like a mystery.

Friday 19 February 2010

Hakka

Right, so guess what, I just went to this so called reunion dinner but, specially for the Hakka people in my hometown! Awesome or what hehe. The food isn't bad, the entertainment is a little yeah. Shall tell you more about the things first.

Alright so since the event is specially for the Hakkas people of my hometown, most of the guests are old people, like at least 40 plus. I could even count the number of young people with my own little fingers! How awesome.

And what's best was that I have to say a short statement, in CHINESE in front of these people, to these people whom I most don't know. Awesome aye. But oh well I pulled it off so everything went well I suppose.

That's all for the event, so now lets talk about the day. Today I went to cut my hair, and well.. I feel that the hairdresser cut my hair too short. So it kinda look weird but nevertheless I still feel alright haha. And then went to eat lunch, or brunch and then the event at night.

Oh well, it's Friday today, so my CNY vacation will end in two more days. Time does fly quickly huh. Anyway I'm really looking forward to starting my GEMS module in SP on Monday. And can't wait to meet with my awesome group Boa Boa again as well. Alright that's all and see ya I guess!

Rain

Oh well, I've just realised, if not, I've just remembered that it's been raining here like since I've been here. Well what's even worse is that my mum told me it's been raining everyday, since I don't know when. Well the good thing about rain, it keeps things cool. The bad thing, it can be freezingly cold here at night.

Anyway, I didn't manage to blog last night cause I was too tired from the Jakarta trip so once I sorted things out I just went to sleep! Umm the trip was not bad, just that I couldn't find a freaking pair of pants that suits me. So bought T-shirts and Polos instead.

Today was alright, at least I did more activities. Went to the temple with my sis to pray, and I prayed for many things :) But it's more of like a Chinese New Year Prayer, and I've decided to share a part of my Ang Pao by donating some of it to the temple.

Then accompanied my sis to develop some photos and then home sweet home. Did nothing much in the evening but watched TV with my sis as well.

Talk about praying, well I wouldn't count myself as a strong Buddhist. Firstly I don't really visit temples often (I think only when I'm in Indo really). Secondly I don't follow Buddhism's practices like being vegetarian on the 1st and 15th day of the lunar month (But I do believe in karma and I'm trying to go vegetarian). But still, I love Buddhism like it is. And I'm trying to follow it.

And talking about rain, it's been raining here like crazy. On some days, it was raining cat and dog. Some other days it was raining normally but over a long period of time. Guess what, my garden is flooded now haha. And temperature has dropped quite greatly.

Well I love rain for its ability to make things cooler here. But I do love sunshine as well. Hoping to see some sunshine on the later date. Hmm, I can't believe it's been a week since I'm here. And in two more days I'll be flying back to Singapore. Time flies quickly.

Alright then, see ya guys later! Hope my last few days of this CNY vacation will be even greater than the previous ones. And I got a feeling that they will :)

Rain, flows like tears in my heart

Tuesday 16 February 2010

Going shopping

Oh yeah, tomorrow I'll be going to Jakarta tomorrow with my sis on some sort of shopping haha. So as usual, let me list of what I'm going or I want to get from tomorrow's trip.

A new backpack

More short pants

Some polo shirts/shirts

A new pair of shoe (if I really want it, not on my WANTED list though)

Books and more!

Hopefully tomorrow's trip will be a fruitful and fun one yeah, I hope I get all I wanted tomorrow. And well it's a new mall so I supposed it'll be a good one.

Today did a few things, not as boring haha. Went to buy brunch together with my sis and then in the afternoon I went to eat lunch with my mum and two sis! Hmm come to think of it it's been quite a while since I actually with the three of them, together.

Then in the late afternoon went to my sis' office to help out with some stuff and yeah. That's about it for the day. Alright I'm hitting the sack early cause I'll be leaving early tomorrow, so see ya I guess!

It feels weird to go to Jakarta on such short trips :P

Monday 15 February 2010

Destiny

Alright people, whew finally another way of starting my post instead of those hey or hello or hi. I'm still trying to start my post right away instead of saying hi or hello etc. More profound and professional right? Okay haha.

Anyway today was a normal day, did nothing much. Hopefully my days will get better and better. Even though it's just a short stay, I really want this short stay to be awesome. A week is quite long actually :P

I did some shopping together with my mum and sis in the evening, and then after that, I found out that I'm going to have my own room! Haha not really found out but more of like realised. And yeah me, my mum, my sis and my dad's colleague (or the designer) were discussing about the lay out and the design of the room. Oh well, my dream is going to come true, I'm going to have a piano in my own room! How awesome right.

Well I guess that's all for today. I'm planning to go to Jakarta on Wednesday with my sister to do a little shopping. I'm looking out for more pants and a new bag. Looking for a backpack cause I felt weird, I mean going to poly with my big crumpler bag. Since I'm not a sporty man, I would be bringing very little things eh. Alright that's all and see ya!

Hop on the ride, we know as destiny.

Happy Chinese New Year

Hello people! Firstly wanna wish everyone here a happy and prosperous Chinese new year! May this year of the tiger brings you fortune and be a prosperous one as well! I didn't manage to blog yesterday cause I was really really tired that I slept really quickly once I finished the mid-night passing over of CNY with my cousins.

Anyway had an awesome day with my cousins. Played many games and activities together with them and the best part? Playing our favourite game of hide and seek! And of course not forgetting the ang paos :) It's kind of sad because my cousins are having school tomorrow so all of them gotta go back today. So my home was really quiet and empty after four haha.

As for last night, another awesome night as well cause we did lots of things as well. Played the 1 - 2 - 3 game and we also did a photo shooting session LOL. The pictures turned out nice anyway.

And hmm, I don't know whether I'm unlucky or what but... On Wednesday I sprained my wrist. And it took me another 3 days to get my neck and back sprained. Yeah I fell down during a futsal match with my cousin. Basically I stepped on the ball and I landed on my back and head pretty hard. And there you go, a sprained back and neck. Hopefully it isn't a bad sign and hopefully it'll get better soon.

Alright I guess that's all for today, I'll be staying here till Sunday! Hopefully this short stay will be an enjoyable one. See ya all!

I have an awesome family after all :)

Back home

Hello people again! I'm back in Indo now. Whew what a chaotic day was today (or yesterday), it was one of the most stressful day of the year so far. I got so pissed, sad, depressed just in one hour. Shall tell you why.

Okay firstly my flight was in 6 PM, so my cousin and I decided to leave house at 4.30, thinking that we'll reach Changi by 5. So we left my house at about 4.20, waited for ONE freaking hour but there was not a single taxi. They were either hired, busy or changing shift. So we decided to go to Clementi to get one.

In Clementi, the taxi stand was full with people and there was not a single taxi at all. So I decided to call a taxi and so we waited for it to come. The most irritating thing was that after I called the taxi, taxis started to pour over in the taxi stand. Gosh it's so unfair...

So by the time we get into a taxi, it was already 5.50. So we knew we were late and we were hopeless of getting into the plane. And we were already planning to get into another plane that was available next. We reached Changi at 6.45 PM and we were like so depressed.

BUT, everything turned 180 degrees

We discovered that the flight was delayed to 7.30 due to a snowy weather in Frankfurt, so the inbound flight was delayed! We were so happy that we kept on laughing and we quickly checked in! Whew this is my first time that I'm being so glad that my flight was delayed, but not that I mean I love delayed flights. This is a special case :P

Anyway had fun in SP today as well with my Boa Boa group. Did metal tooling in the morning, had lunch together and then we K-ed together! It was really fun when I spend my time with them. Int he afternoon class 3 did Muay Thai! It was really fun as well as it was another first timer for me. And after all it's quite an exciting sport as well.

And now back in Indo. Tomorrow my cousins are going to gather together for the CNY gathering. Yay, another family gathering that I'm waiting for. Alright guys shall update more soon. See ya all!

Home.

Things happen

In times of chaos, one needs to clear up his mind
Photography by Yours Truly
Get well soon! :)

Hey people, yeah umm well something happened yesterday and yes it's something bad. Terrifying. Shocking experience in my life. I shan't talk about it cause we've decided to keep it to ourselves just that to my friend, get well soon and stay strong! Just keep fighting and you'll be fine I believe! And to Thwe Ni, I hope you're feeling much better. As I can see from today you look much better than yesterday so yup.

It was really terrifying how everything happened in a flash. It's just like a zap and it happened. And the worst part is that I got knocked and I blacked out. I only realised after I kind of "wake up". Well better not to think over it again I suppose.

Today we went for forest adventure and it was awesome! The high elements are nice and some are scary but I pulled it off and everything was great. It was my first time doing flying fox too, or zip line in this case across some part of Bedok Reservoir! So hell yeah it was awesome.

Next we have dragonboating in which it was also another first time for me. Umm no offence, I don't really like our senior for this part of the day. Cause he uhh, speaking of the ironies of his speech himself. Awesome uh? But it was quite fun too.

Headed back to SP and then I headed back home, grabbing a few bacons to bring back tomorrow. Oh yeah! Tomorrow I'll be going back for a week for CNY! And will be back on next Sunday. Yay, another family reunion :)

Alright that's all for today guys, I am very sleepy and tired, and the best part is that I haven't pack yet! Uh oh better get going, see ya!

It happened so quickly, in a flash.

Moberly

YOU. People tend to forget who they are.
Photography by Yours Truly
Grrr so angry and pissed! Cool off... Xi... Hu... Xi... Hu...

Hello again people! Today (or yesterday, late by a min grr) was a great day! Met again with Boa Boa and did some awesome things at Moberly!

Well in the morning we had a briefing by the DSD and in the afternoon, SP had booked the whole Moberly especially for us, the DPA students! So we, of course, without hesitation went to use the whole facilities. Well not all but most yeah.

I played pool with Debra, Adele and Joei. Um did we (Debra and me) win? I think we didn't cause Mavis was with them too! Haha. Gossiped and chatted around with Desiree, Beverly, Adele, Shawn and Joei about... Yeah. It was really fun though, we laughed a lot.

Closed the activity by Karaoke! It was really fun to sing along with my awesome Boa Boa! Too bad somehow they only have old songs.. We wanted to sing Lady Gaga but there's none so yeah. Sadded.

Went home after that and headed to Holland to have dinner with Kia Wee cause he's passing something for me to pass it to my family. Thanks a lot for the treat and the goodies! And then I headed home and yep, that's about all.

We're going to sail tomorrow! Venturing to lost lands of nowhere... Okay that's so drama. But yup! Gonna be another awesome day. But oh I just remembered we're grouped according to school, no longer by Boa Boa :( It's okay! We can still meet up yeah! Alright see ya!

Grrr, I'm currently pissed! Respect others if you want others to respect you. And you call yourself a "high" ranking man? Gosh. PLEASE man. You're not even worth to be called one. Karma will strike back!

Reality

Imagine living in desolation and loneliness.
Photography by Yours Truly
Wouldn't it suck?

Hey people! (Wow I used hey instead of hello LOL). Today I met again with my super awesome Boa Boa group! Well I would like to apologise for being late haha! Thankfully I'm not like the last one to be late, Russel was haha. But I'm seriously touched with the group's unity for waiting for the two of us and like saying all late is better than one late! Awesome~

Anyway today we went to do some sort of CIP work by helping Yuhua CDC to give out a goodies bag to the elderly around there. So I was grouped with Desiree, Debra and Adele. We went to around 5? 6? Houses and gave out the goodies bag. Some were okay because they understood Chinese, while some can only talk Hokkien, and others can speak English!

It was really fun and sad at the same time to give them these goodies. Fun in a sense that some of the elderly wqere really friendly and funny. Like the first ah mah and ah gong we visited, the ah ma has dementia so she persisted to give us food and drink! While the ah gong was telling a story to us about his acitivties in the PAP while he was young. Can you believe it? He showed me his membership card which was signed by Mr Lee Kuan Yew! OMG We even took picture!

Then it's sad to know that some of them live alone, either being taken care by a maid or they really live alone. And the good thing is that some of them (like the first couple) are visited by their children like once a week. While others told us that they rarely visited them. Isn't it sad? Living a desolate and lonely life alone? Then all of us were discussing about this and Desiree was so against the idea of abandoning parents. Oooh, a soft side to Desiree! Despite of her ra-ra ness :P

Then we headed back to have lunch and then we wanted to go out but I couldn't make it cause I'm meeting my friend in the afternoon. So Mavis and me took 99 to Clementi and then we went on our own ways of course. And then home sweet home!

Alright tomorrow, yet another day to meet with Boa Boa. I hope I won't be late tomorrow! Anyway found another route to SP which I hope it's a faster one so yeah. Alright see ya then!

Sometimes, movies are like reality.

Life is a roller coaster

I need to get out of this misery.
Photography by Yours Truly
But I wonder, life without misery is not a life

Hello again people! Hmm, my mood or feeling isn't feeling good right now so I decide to blog to let the steam out. Anyways, let me talk about today. Apart form getting the new skin, I fried fried rice tonight! I cooked for both lunch and dinner and well I tried to copy my mum's fried rice. It smelled the same, but tasted 80% similar. Okay so I need to learn more from her :P

I did nothing much today, it's just like any ordinary Saturday where all I did is watch TV and facebook. Well, what can I do much. Somehow life after secondary school is different, and all I have to do is to adapt to it as quickly as I can.

Alright this is the thing. Have you ever felt that you're not being true to yourself? Like somehow you do things that go against your principles and what your heart wants to do. Well I think I just did that. No just, I did that. Then I realised, maybe it isn't my fault, and yes it's easy to say that it isn't your fault and that both parties are at fault. But no one is imperfect though, right?

And somehow I feel that why can't we just let it go like a breeze? After all we are all humans too. I truly hate it to realise why humans can't accept each other's differences. And that why we have to try to adapt to this world we know as the stereotyped world. But well, again, we are never perfect to one another isn't it?

I just hope that this "matter" can be solved quickly, and tat everything will go just fine. When we are in war, nothing feels alright and everything feels so sucky. But what other things can I do? Perhaps it's right that life is a roller coaster and that you just gotta ride it (as the song goes by Ronan Keating). And after the camp, I learnt that not being true to yourself, will not only hurt others, but yourself too.

Alright, feels much better after writing this. I really wish that the problem can be solved ASAP and the "conflict" can end ASAP as well. Alright gonna post camp pictures here on a separate post. See ya!

Or perhaps, I should say it. Perhaps, I should not.

New skin

Hello people! Whew finally changed a new skin. I kind of love this skin because of its simplicity and layout. Can't believe I spent like 30 mins just to simply arrange everything. Hmmm, getting better at html language lol! Anyway I still want to learn html language and try to make my own new skin! Which I don't know when.

That's all for now, see ya later.

Awesome mao mao!

Hello people! The DPA Bonding Camp 2010 was so awesome! It was so great, pure of madness and mao mao and lots of things with my super awesome mao mao group BOA BOA! It was three days full of madness, full of mao mao, full of awesomeness (Shawn's style) and full of FUN! Now this is the best camp ever that I have been with.

I'll just skip everything and just state the main activities we had. Met in SP at 7.10, everyone gathered there and we headed to JB Mawai. In the first day we went for the swamp walk and it was really fun! We were walking in a forest, and yes full of mud. And it was so funny because.. We came across this mud pool, which is like knee-deep. And when I "plunged" there, I lost one of my shoes! And everyone was laughing cause I walked out with only one shoe.

Washed up, ate dinner and then we took a nice river-cruise where we could see fireflies! And yes it was so beautiful! And the best part: The Stars. There were so many stars in the sky that I could even see the WHOLE Orion constellation. And you can even see shooting stars, and a low shade of the milky way. And the place was dark so yeah.

Second day was awesome, cause we went to trek a hill called Gunung Arong. It was my first time trekking so hell it was awesome. The climb was about an hour long and it was really tough because the terrain was so not easy. Ate lunch at the -almost- summit point. And we (the boys) played some words game and it was fun, entertaining and funny at the same time. As we reached the summit, I saw a view that is WORTH the hike. And then we headed down again and.. We got lost. So we turned back and walked back to the correct path...

From Gunung Arong, we went to walk along a beach, which is super nice with clear water! Well it is not blue but the water is clear. But, the sky was blue! And that what made the walk so enjoyable, especially with my super awesome Boa Boa. Headed back to our campsite and prepared our performance for the campfire, which was the skid of combined movie cliches. And the leaders told me that our group was one of the best performance of the night! And yes I felt that too! Cause it was really really great. Never in my life have I met a group like us.

In the last day, which went really quickly, started the day with an awesome breakfast. And then headed to play the water obstacle trail and built a raft. It was my first time buyilding a raft and well, I think I did well? Cause I tied the barrels anyhowly and somehow it floats! HAHA. Washed up and ate lunch, watched the photo montage of our trip. Oh yes I was the official photographer for the Boa Boa group, so some of the pics of the montage was taken from me. But the other pictures were awesome too.

Headed to Jusco (some sort of mall) and went shopping with my awesome Boa Boa team! We were going crazy and we were sooooo ON, or MAO in this case. Firstly we all bought Starbucks, and went around the mall with like a tourist attitude hahaha. And then we bought the same shirt (most of us) and it was so funny! (Inside joke). And lastly, when everyone else were like buying A&W etc, we bought like 7 packets of sushi and ate it together! Candy then bought 3 bottles of some peach drink and we played this game of passing it around to drink it. Look how united we are!

And well we headed back to Singapore and then home sweet home!

Well that's all for my beautiful DPA Bonding Camp! It was the most awesome camp I have ever been to with my lovely and awesome Boa Boa group. And well I learnt a lot from this camp. Not just about the constellation and jungle survival guide that the instructors have taught us, but through the friends that have shared their experiences with me as well. Love you all Boa Boa! Shall meet up soon okay! See ya then :D

Awesome, oh WOW. Like totally freak me out! :D
PS: Pictures in facebook soon

DPA Bonding Camp 2010!

I want blue sky during my camp!
Photography by Yours Truly.
And there's a jet plane.

Hello people! Arrgh I'm so excited for tomorrow's camp! Yup the DPA Bonding Camp 2010! And it is held in Mawai at JB there, yeah overseas haha! My first overseas camp and my first SP camp as well. I hope, or I'm sure the 3D2N camp will be such a blast, just by seeing the activities, my eyes glowed and wow, I can't wait for the camp :D

Anyway I was just finishing my packing up. I realised that many things are missing, or -almost- forgot to bring. Like plastic bags! Oh my, if I forgot to bring that, I would totally freak out. The rest are fully packed so yeah, will be double checking again later on and then waiting for time to go by. And yes to sleep as well.

Today met group B people for the planning on the activities and cheerss and our group name at 10. And wow, we came up with amazing and brilliant ideas, which came form our crazy ideas! But it turned out so perfectly! Haha, it's what we call team power. I totally love our cheer, original haha.

Then from SP I headed to Holland to get some stuff like extra battery for my camera, and completing my list for my camping necessities. Then headed home and guess what. STARHUB finally responds to my letter! Can you believe that? After 2 freaking weeks... Well actually it still fails. Only after I talk to the guy then it's finally alright.

Alright I hope the weather in Mawai for the next three days would be gorgeous, wonderful, fantastic, amazing, great and so on. And I hope the camp will go smoothly and hope the camp will be a tornado blast haha!. Alright see ya people! Hopefully I can sleep well tonight :P

Camp camp camp!
