Rain

It's been a rather rainy October so far and well, I guess we have officially entered the rainy season. Which is kinda good and bad. Good that farmers can start planting again and bad cause... Well not exactly bad. I just miss the good old sunshine and blue skies haha. Which they visit occasionally.

Today is a holiday here, and we're actually having a long holiday, well that's for the public servants and the bank and governmental offices. The holiday actually started yesterday all the way till Sunday. Many people are going out of town for a holiday, yup, in the middle of a pandemic. I just find it ironic that the government is telling people to stay safe and healthy in this pandemic yet decided to create a 5 day holiday. And then tell people that they should be staying at home but...

Do you really think people will listen heh.

Sometimes it's quite terrifying and also hopeless and helpless to think how many people have really downplayed this pandemic here. Somehow, taking it as if the pandemic has already been over. Although yes I understand the huge dilemma between the health and lives of people and the economy. At the end of the day it all comes back to one and one thing: we are not ready for a pandemic.

2020 has been a really weird year for us all. I'm still patiently waiting that all of this will come to an end soon. I'm not sure if "going back to how things used to be/normal" is an accurate term in general. We cannot go back to our old days. It's unhealthy, and we have to change. For the planet, for us.

I believe that 2020 is kind of a lesson for us all. The world and us will definitely be changed at the end of all this. And well, it's rather a mysterious and interesting year for us all. Right?
